I have already done this with HSBC who are my main broker. I was able to participate at my minor broker, HL, to a smaller level. HSBC are just bad at everything to be honest, it's a perfect representation of the UK banking industry at large

The company is now fully de-risk for at least a year which was the primary concern being as though we have multiple pipelines to commercialisation and the only real risk was not having enough opex funding to get us there. It is really a case now of kicking back and waiting

This has really gone by the wayside since I was in uni, driven by tech, and their "contracts" where you give up every right known to man in order to use some tiny, irrelevant app.

It's to justify their hours, certainly, but it's also an arms race with both sides adding more and more complexity and needing to keep up with eachother. You see this in corporate finance where the technical aspects of a contract can be twisted in complete opposition to the obvious intent. Imagine if the Maersk contract had been written sloppily and we'd ended up in a situation where they decided not to test or use MSAR but still got a "marketing" cut of our sales. I'm just glad the law that touches our everyday lives is more "mens" based.
