Reality is, if you post on the forum you're posting for some people. If you post here you're posting for everyone.

The reality is, they'll talk about this place as if it's just full of rubbish. And there is a lot of rubbish that's true, mostly from me. But you need to see the rubbish because if you stamp down on everything you'll eventually miss the truth too. Because the dialectic is messy. The people who run that forum are incredibly sensitive to people they think may be shorters (I suppose?) and they've made the forum much much less than it could have been.

Of course manu19, the forum is scammy because it's so well guarded. When you join they vet your first few posts to make sure you're on side. I was banned because I said I'd sold some shares and then bought back at a lower price. People will go on about how useful the forum is but it can never be as useful as something open and democratic.
