Of course there would be a difference. Cashing in on the potential of West Newton increasing the RBD share price will have largely gone. The potential huge rise in Corallian shares will still be to come.

Rathlin stated when testing started at WNA-2 on their website. I think they've decided not to this time though, as testing appears to be underway. I'm sure they'll say something on their findings at some point before they move back to WNA in a couple or so weeks time. Maybe an update Monday? Would be nice.

Would they know more than the Reabold directors how much it would be worth? Of course not. They'd have an idea, but they don't have the figures and facts RBD have.

It's quite straightforward. Ask the Corallian shareholders whether they would be so keen to exchange their Corallian shares for Reabold shares after West Newton test results, considering the rate could reduce considerably from 474:1.

Possibly, feelinlucky. Two or more holders, or in collaboration with a third party perhaps. But I think we would have to be told there was the possibility of a hostile takeover, and if they had backing from a group of shareholders the company may just issue new shares to improve the numbers.

There will be a good reason CB. I expect it's because they wanted to ensure grabbing the extra stake in Corallian at an exchange of 474 x RBD @ 0.675p to 1 x Corallian @ £3.20. They clearly see the upside of Corallian at £3.20 is more than the upside in RBD @ 0.675p. With so much potential with West Newton, I see it that the company have even higher expectations for Corallian following an IPO or RTO.

I think I must have watched a different presentation to most other posters here. Simon Oddie was focussed on Morocco for specific reasons - it's huge, has huge potential and is about to be farmed out.

Simon's delivery is deliberate and precise, but he's talking about what he's doing with our money, so I expect that. What I don't want is a David Lenigas type character promoting the company, which is what a lot of other people seem to want. Perhaps they've not been involved with any of his companies in the past.

Of course if he doesn't deliver something soon, I'll start to question if he's taking the company in the right direction. Hugh did a great deal of preparation to get the Inezgane licence, but Simon has had so much go against him since with Covid and the Irish government shenanigans - he must have felt he was wading through treacle.

I, for one, am very optimistic this share price will increase considerably this year.

Well no, it's obviously not. You're distorting the truth again. Mark Abbott said the proppant squeeze would be completed during June, and they would know during the operation if it has worked. Optimum oil production would be achieved before the end of June, and let's face it, they'll have to release an RNS to that effect.
The reference to mid-July was obviously to confirm to the liaison group that they would know the result before their next meeting, which should be late July.

I think it's one of his FACTS (as he likes to describe them). The last I heard from the horse's mouth was that it will be in June.

Clearly my figure is based on pre any new issue, but post the declaration of the intention to IPO. Perhaps you think it should be considerably more? Maybe it should.
I'd prefer an RTO, not for the stupid reason persimmon suggests, but because it may drag one of our other highly respected UK AIM oilers out of the doldrums and give it the boost it needs (Europa would be good).

Whatever are you on about! Corallian is likely to be IPO'd next year for £40 - 50m. Reabold own effectively 50% of Corallian. The cost has been around £8m in cash and shares. Looks like a pretty good investment to me.

I'd be interested to see the actual detailed facts behind those accusations Uggy. I've seen nothing to substantiate any of them, and I consider myself to be reasonably well informed.
