Sounds like you need to do a bit more research. Are you sure Reabold will go tits up if West Newton isn't commercial, or is your definition of 'make or break' different to most other people's?

Egdon will RNS as soon as OGA authority is granted for the proppant squeeze. Egdon can't hurry it up, and the OGA won't give any indication as to when it will be dealt with. So I suspect any works on site at the moment are normal clean-up operations. Incredibly frustrating, but it seems bureaucracy can't cope with the pandemic as well as industry. The management of all JV partners don't seem unduly worried yet.

There's a constant battle between the tweeters and the posters. The tweeters are positive about the potential of the company, encourage buying and drive the share price up. Then the new shareholders read this bulletin board, and what happens.....they sell. And those moaning wonder why the share price keeps dropping! It's been like it on here for years. This is a minnow company. It doesn't matter if you moan on a FTSE100 bulletin board, but it makes a difference to the share price here.
If you have a problem with the management, you should take it up with them. As far as I'm concerned, they are doing the best they possibly could in these difficult and challenging circumstances.

Further to my last post, if they were to announce current flow at 80bopd, which it may well be without the proppant squeeze, the share price would tank. So in my view, no news is good news.

Tovoc, I understand that Egdon, as operators, are still awaiting OGA sign-off of the proppant squeeze which would take production to 500bopd. Meanwhile, the well is undergoing normal clean up. Egdon will announce OGA sign-off once it's received, but they are not able to give any idea of when this will be.

A Competent Persons Report isn't reliant upon the completion of Extended Well Tests, so the ongoing works could quite possibly provide the necessary information to complete the CPR and get the best sale price. I'm convinced there is a bidding war either underway or in preparation - after all, opportunities this enormous, in the best place possible, don't arrive very often - even for the big boys.
So, for me talk of months before any sale could possibly take place could be misguided, which makes this is a time to hold and increase our personal holding, rather than be tempted to take profit or trade.
Of course if a tempting offer comes in, they won't say, "Oh we can't sell yet, because the RNS said we've got to do the EWT's first, then drill WNB-2".

The operator has been waiting for some considerable time for OGA approval to carry out a proppant squeeze, which should hopefully be the final part of bringing the well into full production. It seems the OGA are miles behind on their paperwork due to Covid19 causing delays, but approval should surely arrive soon.
