I believe our Cloughton licence (35%) is a candidate for fracking.
Indeed porkpies

I sent him an email today, to ask if he knew Eamon Ryan was claiming the UK government would prioritize Irish gas supply equally with that of the British. Rees-Mogg should put UK citizens first, and the Irish should do more to secure their own domestic supply, in my opinion.
Once BGF are out, this should fly. Plenty of buys soaking up the sells. No BGF sells = boom!
Fantastic appointment. If only the Irish had the same approach to energy security.
Looks like 2.80/3.10 pre-open to me.
So I take it you don't think the Crawberry Hill prospect has any hydrocarbons then, GP. The people I have spoken to think that's rubbish, but you believe your mates, and I'll believe mine ; )
GP
' IMO the RNS was "economical with the truth"'
What RNS?
The company stated this in 2015. Doesn't sound like a dry hole to me.
“This decision has been taken in light of all the information derived from each of the exploration wells and against the background of continuing depression in world energy prices, which currently show little sign of recovery.”
“After thorough analysis, Rathlin has concluded that the costs associated with testing the Crawberry Hill well cannot be justified, relative to probability of commercial success.
“We continue to believe in the overall prospectivity of the geology in the Crawberry Hill area but the current well site is not a preferred location for further drilling or completion investment and, as a result, the well will be abandoned and the site restored.”
**** off you idiot **** persimmon.
It may well be that West Newton and other parts of the licence area (Crawberry Hill for example) require fracking to get them to flow, Watts.
The greens (Mirasol and her lot) are responsible for these high energy prices. They have managed to stop nuclear, stop fracking, stop coal, and cripple oil and gas. Well hopefully the tide has turned, common sense will be able to change policy and bring prices down.
Who is the operator Yanis? Obviously EOG can't release an RNS without the operator.
'time to find another defenceless little hydrocarbon stock'
Better still, just bugger off.
I would LOVE 5/6p in the run-up to drill results, Anthony. Good luck.
Anthony, good to see you post again. I'm not convinced the run up to drill results will push up the share price on it's own. But there will be other catalysts, namely the GC Report on Wressle and any possible change in Irish policy on domestic production (I'm not holding my breath). So, I think it's going to be a difficult decision with a fairly stable share price until Serenity news.
Heid, I've been told that even with dirty hair you look gorgeous.
Has someone been loading up (apart from us deemule)? Shareholders won't agree to a sale if Victory is ongoing and the West Newton CPR is as expected imo, unless of course the BoD recommend it.
Four years, 10 months, 2 weeks and 3 days, to be precise.
West Newton CPR must be very close.
