Did anyone notice the use of the phrase 'In the meantime' with regards to the update. Almost as if it was an inconsequential sideshow to the main event... THE DEAL

EUA are focusing the minds of all parties involved:
No engagement letters signed with the banks.
NN and Legeso have men on the inside now.
In other words, who ever is in the arena, get on with it before someone else takes the spoils.
Who'll blink first?

The bank will have an idea of the fee they want out of the deal. Best to keep them in the dark, or they will act for the buyer too to get the deal completed in quick time.
I dare say when EUA reveal, it will be a scaled percentage dependent on sale price. Like most fee deals, it's all about the volume.

How to negotiate 101.
EUA wouldn't settle on a fee scheme with the banks until they know what the banks think they can achieve.
They're likely to also broker different deals with either one.
I thought this would be obvious.

Not available for trading yet but still shares held in principle, so accountable if a sell of assets/company occurs. Tues next week is the cut off day for warrants. Sometime from Tues, we may hear something I suspect.

With the flanks, you're looking at an asset of circa £15-18 Billion. This is at today's metal prices. Some commentators are saying prices could rise exponentially. One said x10, that £150-180 Billion. He may have been drunk mind you! I think NN will be aware of this.
Think we're looking at £2-3 Billion if EUA give NN exclusivity.

I got the distinct impression they won't be waiting for the license to be granted as they have no indication of when this may happen, and they will not be pushing them for it. No need. What they did say was that the license would not be a problem. You can therefore add the 13MOz to the possible resource and this will be factored in to the asset sale. IMO. DYOR

I have spoken to EUA and the outstanding warrants are updated periodically on the website. They said that there are very little left from the 1st equity placing, and have been taken up very quickly over the past few weeks. They also said, the amounts have had no bearing on the share price. The warrants money is ear-marked for WK development.
Regards the flanks licensing, the application was made 6 weeks ago and they are fully confident that these will be issued in due course. Thanks to Alexander Sushchev no doubt.
Looks like an asset sale nearing completion, hence the speedy warrant exercise.
I thought I heard a Laithwaites delivery driver in the background delivering some champagne though, and the guy I spoke to, who was very helpful, seemed rather chipper, but then he was Irish.

Why did the director agree to a 10% dilution of his own % in EUA as part of the negotiation with Alexander?
There are probably 2 reasons for this:
1. Alexander has pre negotiated a great deal, so great that the 10% dilution is negligible.
2. Alexander didn't want the extra share dilution to affect his return on the deal.

Me thinks, it's mostly in the bag.
