It's official: Magna International will invest more than $790 million to build the first two supplier facilities at Ford’s BlueOval City supplier park in Stanton, Tennessee. 👏

In addition to the two West Tennessee locations, Magna will also build a stamping and assembly facility in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Combined, Magna will create approximately 1,300 new jobs across three facilities. 💪 #MasteredinTN

Seems a small purchase, think there will be a few more bigger ones announced over next few days.

new patent covering a driver state display proposes a friendlier approach.

General Motors believes that a driver monitoring system can and should boast multiple states, helping the drivers avoid reaching a certain distraction threshold and generating an alert.

The American carmaker says the technology can use the hardware already available on cars and powering driver monitoring systems. Its driver state display would come as an upgrade, featuring multiple indicators to indicate the current state.

chief test pilot cpt. philippe dutchateau is a gentleman & talks about the improvements at the pointy end of the long range falcon 10x.

with its vast improvements in safety technology the 10x flight deck offers an advanced suite of avionics & controls, including a nexus glass ****pit & hud’s with synthetic vision in the form of dassault’s “falconeye.”

there is so much to talk about this ****pit in regards to advanced technology design, but it’s best to keep it simple as mr. dutchateau does.

Looks promising but we have had so many false dawns that it is hard to get too excited.

If Collins win a contract does that mean we can announce also if they end up using our tech or will we be bound to keep it secretive like in automotive ?

Hope not, but nothing is straight forward with SEE.

Today the Automotive News highlighted Magna’s ClearView advanced driver visibility system and put it to the test. Magna’s ClearView inside mirror helps improve safety and visibility within the vehicle using cameras and interior and exterior mirrors to expand the driver’s field of vision and display an unobstructed view of the road, helping eliminate blind spots and reducing accidents.

All these speculative assumptions reads well, but it’s screaming out for the CEO to finally show his hand in the next set of results.

We need to get Gen3 launched, nail another 2 or 3 OEM wins & land this blinking 330 plane aviation deal !
