Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards 2023

Since 1987 The Prince's awards Awards have given public recognition to those who have improved road safety throughout Britain. Now the Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards recognise outstanding achievement and innovation world-wide.

Each year the most outstanding examples of international road safety initiatives are given public recognition through the scheme.

The Annual Awards Luncheon Ceremony takes place each year in December. It is attended by about three hundred people and special guests include our road safety minister and a number of international leading road safety professionals. It has become an extremely prestigious event in the international road safety calendar.

In 2023 it is planned for 12 December at The Savoy in London

SmartEye are experts in heavily promoting their company ! like CB, I doubt their management & performance but it seems all the PR has paid off for them & their SP is at a 52 week high. If I was a shareholder I would be happy enough with the performance. If I could short their stock right now however I would, as something not quite right & CB knows it.

SEE SP on the other hand has been terrible & under performed against SmartEye & Cipia even though we’ve had some decent news flow in Aviation & a recent win in Automotive.

It’s tough to take to be honest but 2024 is literally around the corner & CES show starts in Jan so a lot can happen over the next month or Two, so staying positive! Good luck to all long term holders , I’m sure 2024 will be our year 🙏

To strengthen its #ADAS test capabilities, #Magna has joined NorthStar, a 5G innovation initiative for industry set up by #telecommunications providers Telia Sweden and Ericsson.

Telia and Ericsson have built a private 5G network at Magna’s #automotive test track in Vårgårda, Sweden, where new cutting-edge ADAS solutions in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) connectivity are being trialled. Leveraging the 26GHz frequency band and 400MHz bandwidth, the 5G network is crucial for real-time data transfer from vehicle sensors.

“By utilizing the latest advancements in mobile networks, we are able to accelerate the automotive domain by offering sensor enhancements and as a result offer more capable and competitive ADAS products,” said Bill Snider, president of Magna Electronics.

We first get an RNS from Magna announcing the VW Scout & then we’ll announce the win & value of contract next week.

$450 million value for Magna so it might not be huge for SEE but it will be material.

World leading technology, if only SEE could do some PR around this ever evolving technological breakthrough !

I understand our hands are tied, as it's the OEM leading the story but i don't think it'a a secret & a few words with BMW could do wonders for the shareprice if investors knew that it is SEE that is making this step change happen.

I just hope their strategy pays off for us, yes frustrated but still believe our time will come !

Yes but they can now say they are in the Volvo model where we can't even say we are in the all the new BMW's, Mercedes, Ford & GM models to name a few because we are not pushing that strategy!

Really poor marketing from SEE in my opinion as staying under the radar to try and get a competitive edge over Smarteye has not paid off for us as yet! Smart Eye has shot up by 6% saying they are in just 1 model.

Frustrating to watch when we all know who the market leader is & how many big OEM's have our DMS! Time to stop accepting we are some small Australian Tech outfit on AIM at 5p & announce that we are a leading AI company with breakthrough technology used my the very best in Automotive/Aviation industry.
