Mercedes-Benz now has level 3 driver assist systems operating in California and Nevada. It’s exciting to be a part of the first deployment of Level-3 automation in the United States with the roll out of Drive Pilot on EQS and S-Class models in these states. While not fully autonomous, the technology allows for an enhanced hands-free driving experience.

This technology is quite an achievement, and #SeeingMachines is proud to be part of this. Camera-based #drivermonitoringsystem tech is a critical component of driver assistance as it helps ensure the driver is able and ready to takeover control when needed. Level 2 and level 3 automation are just part of our roadmap for widespread DMS adoption.

European regulations will require DMS as a safety system for #distraction and #fatigue beginning in July. The U.S. is considering similar regulations as part of an Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking issued earlier this year.

DMS has the potential to eliminate impairment behind the wheel and we are committed to our mission of getting everyone home #safely.

I’m curious to find out what peeps think of this PACE award win by Magna & what it means for the relationship they have with SEE ?

If industry experts are touting this as a major technology breakthrough, will Magna chose to align more closely with SEE ? Could they invest more into SEE & buy more than 10% of the company?

Surely Magna are thinking we need to work more closely than ever with SEE or is that too optimistic?

Seeing Machines has today announced an extension of a program win with "an existing North American Tier-1 customer and OEM." Based on existing evidence, this is almost certainly for Ford Motor Company, with Magna International as the tier-1. Shown below is the new Lincoln Motor Company #Aviator, sister of the Ford #Explorer, with DMS on the steering column. Superimposed onto the image is the latest Gen. 2 DMS camera from Magna. It is a perfect match. Both the Aviator and Explorer are due to reach start of production later this month, and we are likely to see models destined for sale in Europe appear on YouTube with this Gen. 2 DMS module sometime later this year, to meet Euro NCAP #OSM testing and #GSR requirements. The announcement likely also confirms that Ford is continuing to source DMS from Magna/Seeing Machines until at least 2032.

Be interested to hear what he has to say on both the contract win & Magna winning the PACE award for the DMS intergrated into the mirror with our tech !

Magna making a big deal about this win on social media & also mentioned SEE as partner so very positive for the ongoing relationship we have with them.

If it was SmartEye they would have added a zero at the end of it on further expansion & estimates & the stock would have gone up by 40%

As always we send out a boring RNS that has no sizzle & we get a muted response.

Whoever does there RNS’s needs a lesson in capturing investors excitement as it’s hardly exciting when in theory it actually is positive news.

This is a big deal, hopefully this will be proof industry needs that this is best DMS solution in town !

Magna Wins 2024 Automotive News PACE Award, Receives PACEpilot Recognitions

AURORA, Ontario, April 30, 2024 – Magna was named a 2024 Automotive News PACE Award winner and received multiple PACEpilot Innovation to Watch recognitions at the awards ceremony on April 29th. Why are you not buying shares to install some confidence in your company ??

The continued. silence & lack of progress by SEE is now beyond a joke.

The market either smells something bad & pushing share price down or we are getting played like all the other crap*y AIM stock out there.

If directors knew good results are on their way while are they not buying at 4p ? Absolutely shocking PR & marketing by SEE once again letting market players punish us because of lack of clear news & concise updates from this company.

Their marketing needs a complete overhaul, no one know what Seeing Machines does or who they are outside of this arena they play in. Huge scope to leverage of big brands like BMW, Mercedes Magna Collins Aerospace etc.

The best person by far has been Colin Barnden who has been banging the SEE drum but lots more needs to be done.

our photographers got the rare chance to snap the ****pit of this prototype, revealing an intriguing detail. the dashboard adopts a familiar layout, with the instrument panel and the infotainment screen blending into one display surface. this seems to be the new industry trend, with bmw neue klasse models featuring a similar design. the c-class sedan's center screen also features a camera sensor, likely for the driver monitoring system
