the last update on drilling was exactly 3 weeks ago and told shareholders that kobold was drilling in the hanging wall which overlays the ore shale in nearby known areas. here is the hanging wall as described by porter geo:
"hanging-wall formation, which above the kirila bombwe deposits comprises:
• hanging-wall quartzite, locally referred to as the arkose, 10 to 150 m thick - hard, fine to medium grained, generally finely bedded argillaceous quartzite. the regional rokana evaporite member position occurs at the base of this unit, but is absent at kirila bombwe, with the lowest member being the nchanga quartzite member which ocuppies the whole of the unit. cu and fe sulphides may be present near the base;
• hangingwall aquifer, 15 to 75 m thick - composed of interbedded siltstone, dolomitic sandstone and dolostone.
• shale with grit, 40 to 160 m thick - composed of feldspathic and dolomitic sandstones, interbedded with co**** grained calcareous sandstones to grit, forming a transition to the overlying upper roan group, with increasing dolomitic interbeds upwards."
the question is how far have they drilled in the last 21 days?
