If you look at a discussion board for any share, you will see a slew of negative posts whenever the share price is under pressure, which suddenly dry up when the direction reverses. If you want to believe that's genuine 'investor sentiment' then that's up to you. I have a more jaded view of peoples motivations personally.

How would you have done things differently in Zambia? They got what was undeniably a fantastic joint venture with Anglo it was then up to Anglo to progress the exploration but for whatever reason they decided to pull out, was it a change in focus to elsewhere or frustration at the bogus lawsuits that prevented much exploration? Maybe a combination of the two? I don't see what Arc could have done any differently to be honest, any other junior would have done just the same in Arc's position. I get the frustration, we are all frustrated with the way things went but you also have to be realistic. I think they just have to keep pursuing the cases through the courts because MM is counting on them giving up and giving him another settlement. We know that he won't stick to the terms of any agreement so they have to deal with him once and for all in the courts and hopefully take him to the cleaners. After that I'm sure another JV partner will materialise, who knows, maybe BHP who I seem to remember were one of the parties they were alleged to have been talking to before signing with Anglo.

The management have invested a large amount of their own money into Arc so they are highly incentivised to create value. Accusing them of being crooks is very wide of the mark in my view. Mistakes have been made for sure but the main issue as we all know is the constant illegal interference in the Zambian licenses by the real crook in the picture, MM.

Maybe you need to read a bit more about what orebodies look like in Botswana before writing the license off, they are typically thin (5-10m is normal) but continuous sheets over large areas, making mechanised mining easier. MMG have discovered economic deposits on both sides of the Arc license so who is to say we don't also have economic grades?

They took advantage of the previous seller depressing the SP to load up at an average price of about 3p. When the selling pressure stopped the SP shot back up to nearly 5p... at which point they started selling, taking the SP back down. It's just a big boys club really isn't it. I suspect they are still selling but we won't know that for sure until we get another update. Anything they sell at this price is probably making a small loss but overall they already made their money so I guess it doesn't matter. Hopefully they won't go much lower than the current level but who knows.

I use Matthey for my calculations and I got a Q3 average 4E price of US$3,132 compared with the reported figure of US$3,047 so not that far off. I tend to use the 6E split for working out the estimated revenue and earnings because it's much simpler. I don't know why they don't do that anyway. Once I adjusted for the slightly lower production my EBITDA was within US$2m of the reported number.

I'm not overly concerned about the chrome production being a bit on the low side, it's the PGM's that contribute the majority of earnings and they expect to meet or exceed full year guidance there.

It's a pity the volatility in metals prices is killing any upside at the minute, I guess a lot of the trading is automated to track the metals prices.

Do you want to believe "what AI says" or what the company has told us? Anyone using AI to research anything is asking for trouble as far as I'm concerned. You simply can't trust it and if you can't trust it what's the point?

I don't think anyone is expecting share buybacks imminently, clearly most or all of the funds available are for development, but they wouldn't be consulting the shareholders on a preferred option if they weren't serious about going ahead with that in the future.

I sold up because of the financial position not because of the assets. I'm sure that another partner will come onboard once all the legal shenanigans have been dealt with. Why do you think MM is fighting so hard to gain something from the licenses he so stupidly let go by illegally pawning his shares.

We could see some impact from elevated power and fuel costs but on the upside we might see elevated production numbers as they are able to mine the higher grades following the rains.

The warrants are exercisable at 0.8p, why on earth would they buy them at 0.8p and then sell them at 0.15p?! The warrants won't come into play unless the SP recovers to over the warrant price.

I sold up months ago because I couldn't see any other option than to raise money but I'm still keeping a close eye on developments because I believe the underlying assets are strong and when the court cases are cleared then we will see a significant rise in SP.

Come off it, the only times you have ever contributed here is when the price is under pressure to give it another kick! You weren't saying anything when the SP was at nearly 5p not so long ago. Have a bit of respect for people who are invested and move on.

It's only right to point out that both Kalan and Chatmandu are not invested and both keen to talk the price down. Believe what you will.

JL, you just have to look at the photos they posted to see that they are not mining pit 5, it's full of water. They are focused on pit 2 right now and expanding that to join pit 3. The mine plan showed the expected production over the 4 months development which I'm sure you've seen already.
