Homey why did you blatantly lie about the ROM at Roan? Why did you chose today when Canaccord Genuity have issued a buy status on JLP to come here and start talking them down for the ‘benefit’ of potential investors?

I was expecting Homey to show up again when the next set of results are released, I guess the sudden rise caught him out 😁 He showed up a while back when he bought back in and claimed the company were lying about the need to process RoM at Roan, when in fact that has always been the plan and it even says that in the 2021 research note. Another liar, not to be trusted.

Canaccord Genuity started Jubilee as a buy today, maybe thats attracting interest.

That’s true he did say bulk. He also said elsewhere that repayments would be over a number of years, it’s not a big up front payment. I can’t remember which video that was in but I’m sure someone will find it if they are interested enough.

I know one of the standard deramper tactics is to try and convince potential investors of impending dilution but at this stage of the companies growth, any dilution would be to grow the company, not to keep the lights on. It really doesn’t concern me at all. It’s worth remembering that when the last big cash raise happened, to acquire the processing rights for the Northern tailings etc, the share price actually went UP. Why? Because investors saw the value in it.

Leon has previously said that funding for the Northern refinery will be from debt and own cash:

This seems to tie in with what Slater mentioned about bank finance in his update.

Curiously I noticed on watching the video again that Leon was talking about the large cobalt capacity in the Northern refinery, rather than the copper footprint. The key thing about Chambishi is the capacity to refine cobalt to pure metal rather than just cobalt hydroxide. I wonder if this would prove to be more economic to do because you would be recouping the full market price for cobalt rather than the percentage payable which is applicable to cobalt hydroxide. From memory at the current cobalt price the percentage payable for the hydroxide is approximately 60%

Jonah / Mikie, have a listen to the mid-week takeaway interview again at ~30:00-31:00 minutes where Leon is talking about the semi-commercial pilot plant at Luanshya. He says that once the results are proved at that scale then they will design both full scale plants for Kitwe and Luanshya. He certainly has talked about just one extra plant at Kitwe in the past but that’s where I got the idea that there will eventually be two more concentrators but maybe I understood wrong… have a listen and see what you think.

Difficult to know Mikie, we don’t know when the samples were sent or what exactly is being tested. I would imagine its more than simply testing the tailings for copper content.

It does make me wonder if the refinery deal is already in the bag if they are getting the financing in place for the Northern refinery and the two new copper concentrators. Could the money also be conditional on results from the recently announced large scale pilot plant? Jubilee seem to be pretty confident with small scale results exceeding expectations.

Leon has said that we were in advanced negotiations to secure a copper - cobalt refinery for the North, with a capacity of 40,000 Tpa of copper and 5,000 Tpa of cobalt metal. A previously undisclosed outstanding tax issue with the correct owner was holding up completion.

The Zambian President and Minister for Mines have both said that Chambishi Metals current owner, ERG, are in advanced negotiations to sell the plant to a new investor, however an outstanding tax issue was holding up the deal. In the most recent interviews, the minister for Mines indicated that the tax issues may now be resolved.

If you can find me another copper - cobalt refinery which has the capacity Leon stated, is up for sale but has outstanding tax issues, and is close to our operations…. Then I might believe that this is just a remarkable coincidence!

The recent post from Slater indicated that the bank providing finance for the northern expansion was waiting on lab results before releasing funds… that may now be the outstanding issue in completing the transaction.

It’s worth pointing out that FQM have already drilled on the Tirosa prospect area, all the way to the Mukai license boundary and they have a technical and data sharing agreement in place with TYM, clearly they want to know what lies across the border… will they be prepared to drill it for TYM?

A nice little video showing the significance of the Mukai anomaly and the FQM Tirosa copper project that it connects to. I think its highly likely that FQM will be interested in this.

Jedster, all you ever talk about is the share price, I’m assuming you’re just trading the ups and downs because whenever there is news of any kind you never discuss it, seems odd for someone who claims to be a long term investor. Not all of us are here to ‘get our money back’ some of us are here because of the potential that the licenses may have. If just one of the Zambian licenses attracts the interest of our immediate neighbours, Anglo American (who wanted the license but were too slow) or FQM then the share will look very undervalued. That’s why I’m here. It may pay off or it may not but I won’t hang around blaming the company if it doesn’t.
