It was about 12 days between starting the soil sampling at Mukai and announcing the anomaly. It’s been just over two weeks since they started the soil sampling at Mushima North so it’s possible we might get news on that by next week.

@gameangler yes I saw that post too, interesting that it say “ Spectacular Announcements to be made in the Mining Sector.” so there’s more than one announcement. I think we can be pretty sure Mopani will be one of them. PK mentioned that Chambishi Metals is also due to open ‘soon’ in his Parliamentary statement last week… will there be more?

Don’t forget that the timelines outlined for the drilling and staged payments can be expedited if Anglo American chose to do that. If they do discover a significant deposit(s) then I expect that this would be very likely to happen.

This is a standard tactic derampers use to hide any potential good news. They say something to provoke a response and create an argument so that the posts which are actually relevant are hidden and quickly disappear. This is exactly what’s happening now…..

There is a protocol for getting posts removed where they are misleading / untruthful so why not use it?

Is there anything to be gained by engaging with Bushytailed? All you are doing is encouraging more garbage. If he posts lies then report them and they will get removed.

Slater has made it clear that he bought into Jubilee purely for the copper opportunity, hence why he continued to hold despite the drop in PGM basket. There's no indication that he has finished buying either, only that he crossed the 10% threshold. I think it's significant that he has increased his holding at all given that his holding has remained unchanged since 2021.

There's a video of Mines Minister Paul Kabuswe in Parliament last week stating that very soon there will be news on Mopani and that Chambishi Metals will soon re-open.

The list of significant shareholders was last updated on 29th August, at which time Slater held 9.91% of shares in issue, the number of shares held has been unchanged since he first bought in 2021. The latest TR-1 suggests he has added approximately 8.65 million shares since the start of September. You have to think that there has been some material change for him to buy more shares at this stage. That's my opinion anyway. Let's hope the coming week brings some good news!

I wonder if this means the banks have agreed to the financing of the Northern Strategy… Slaters update said he was eagerly awaiting the lab results… it would be odd for him to add unless he knew that was already agreed.

Strange it still hasn’t shown up here yet but there’s a TR-1 notification, Slater has increased from 9.95 % to 10.23 %

Jammer, my estimate is just that, an estimate. I can only estimate based on the best information available at the time. I’ve included as many known figures as possible because it’s better to see it all gathered in one place rather than sheer guesswork or worse still the derampers who pluck numbers out of thin air. I’m not going to lose any sleep over how accurate or inaccurate it turns out to be.

I would suggest you look at the WH Ireland research note if you think the strategy of mainly processing ROM at Roan is a new one… it was in the plan as far back as 2021…. Homey tried to pull that trick as well strangely enough.

From what Slater said, the samples are already in the Australian lab to be tested for the bank(s) to release funds, there’s nothing to indicate they need more than that.

There will be plenty of holders who have been diluted by previous raises and who just want out so we will have to churn through those shares first before there’s a significant rise I think. There should be more news before long so it’s just a matter of patience for those prepared to wait.

I should also have mentioned that as well as iridium being up nearly 2.5% on the Chinese market today, rhodium is also up nearly 2%. It usually takes a day or two for these changes to reflect in other markets such as London and New York.

I’m not sure why Anglo American is the obvious choice, given that TYM is in a data sharing agreement with KoBold Metals who are developing the shallow part of the same ore body. They mention the Mukai license where TYM are in a data sharing agreement with FQM and the anomaly they recently announced crossed the license boundary to join with FQM’s own drill targets.

They didn’t even mention the Mupala license which TYM were recently granted and which adjoins the Anglo/Arcm JV… in that case Anglo would be the obvious partner for any potential JV.

It makes you wonder if these guys do any research at all!

In the list of critical minerals issued this year by the US Department of Energy there are only two PGM's, which are platinum and iridium. Iridium in particular is considered critical in the short term for its role in PEM electrolysis for the growing hydrogen fuel market. It's worth having a look at the sections that may be relevant to Jubilee: (Page 83-84 for iridium)

Even at current PGM production levels the amount of iridium available will constrain the growth of PEM electrolysis, without an improvement in PGM basket price it seems likely that high cost mines will close early or go into care and maintenance, further constraining supply.

Although iridium makes up only a small fraction of the basket (about 4% according to WHI) its high price means it can still make a significant contribution. If supply does become squeezed then might we see another rush to secure supply at any price like we saw with rhodium?

I only ask because the price of iridium has been increasing again over the last couple of weeks.... one to watch!

It’s a shame he didn’t predict that massive rise in share price when he sold out and missed it, or the massive fall in Hum that he them bought into. Make no mistake he is a sad and bitter little man.
