Mc obviously has to give positive sales pitch ie interest it would be poor if not however you need to go by the facts, 1 year, 3 site visits, no binding offer, record pog but despite your repeated claims of improving geopolitical situation the opposite is true. Doesn’t mean there cannot be a deal but the idea that there are a posse of bidders waiting for the starting pistol seems highly unlikely.

Imv if a deal does happen $100m maybe $120 m is max we can expect and then you need to deduct all the various costs of which I suspect there will be many including 15% tax and mellons interest on any loan and mc rather opaque reward for steering us to a deal. Are Hannan on a no deal no fee arrangement? 40 p tops and decreasing imv.

Expect to see 100% from here if a deal is struck.

Deals are not done on short term pog movements.

Hi jack, won’t be sticking a lot in for now just a little bit on dips. Having quite a good ride elsewhere and in crypto so happy to have a little punt. Happy to sell fast if there is an opportunity too. Have to accept that back to 2 p is just as possible. Agree raising cash with no conclusion in Colombia doesn’t bare thinking about. Reckon funding needed before q3 so matey better get his skates on. If I had bought at 2 p I would be selling half at 3 p to be honest.

Crypto so much simpler . Liking clsk and microstrategy as crypto related shares.

Karl. Been surprised how this has firmed up to 3 p tbh. Agree if anza sorted out re rate on cards however I think it is fairly debatable that it will be q1. But yes anyone buying now has a decent risk reward however anybody deep in the doo would be very risky.

Thinking of buying a few back gradually and see how it pans out but glad to have cleared out when the timelines messed up. Buying back at 3 p not too bad after exiting from 8-6 p . Trading is the only way to have a fighting chance with these brigand shares.

Good luck jt . Could have done worse than stick it in producers quickly. Been sticking a bit in this last couple of weeks . Hum and Shg having a good run currently. There is plenty of high movers to chance on currently in other sectors. Not getting into explorers long term again.

Mellon has an average lower than most here I wager and likely next funding will be 20% loan , possibly convertible and maybe some nice lower priced warrants. However unlike many here even if this blows out he can offset any losses against other tax liabilities.

Agreed roxi a bid could drop anytime in the last 1 year. However the so has cascaded from 34 p high in this period to 14 p. It is an opportunity for bigcahunas to have a high risk reward punt. Not seeing a lot of buying but fortune does favour the brave sometimes.

J t. I bought back in after the open offer and regretting it . In around 20 p ave. Selling is a gamble, if news comes this will double for sure. However if no deal who knows? For sure the optimist hopes of 60 p 100 p are long gone imv. I believe you are right to suspect that after a year and just 3 site visits and no deal , there isn’t a posse of bidders waiting for the start gun. The market is not impressed thus far. Doesn’t mean we won’t get an offer but it is likely to be lower than many had hoped for imv.

Thinking of switching a bit out perhaps and putting in crypto. Expecting a good year there obvs dyor . Microstrategy is a good share based exposure to Bitcoin or s couple of miners more risky but fast gains.

I guess that the low ballers are in the five non binders , rejected and up to now Havnt improved their offer to a level that can be taken to binding. Still only 3 site visits after 1 whole year doesn’t suggest a tidal wave of interest.

We are not far from needing more funding so will be interesting what shape that takes.

E l. Concur re calibre for various reasons. Does beg the question. If calibre are not interested may the toll deal be re visited if a deal fails to materialise. The argument against was that calibre want to pick up Cnr cheaply . Still excess capacity and they deal with various artisanals. Bit of a conundrum that one.

There are a number of warrants and options in the twenties so I do not imagine a deal under mid thirties being accepted but there has to come a point where Cnr have to accept an offer or declare a plan b. S p is going nowhere till something is public. M c stated Mellon prepared to loan cash to a conclusion of deal but it is not clear to me what happens if a no acceptable deal results. This is probably the highest risk point of this investment now.

J t. Yeah sell and move on is an option. Selling is much harder than buying . For me a switch in to crypto is the likely scenario or crypto/ tech based us shares. Crypto bull run has started with some very nice gains in last month but expect it to run the length of next year with the halving. Obvs dyor . Microstrategy is a good way to have exposure to crypto but sitting in an isa and looking pretty healthy currently. Waiting for a decent pullback to put a bit more in.

Can’t help getting the heebies with sale timeframe and lack of deal.

Sometimes it just makes sense to switch. I sold Cnr at start of covid and multi bagged nicely and returned 6 months or so later to re buy from profits. Obvs dyor and not advice but one option. An option that slim spurned I believe. Trading is the best way to give yourself a fighting chance imo. You can’t treat aim like blue chip, you can hardly treat blue chip like blue chip anymore.

Jack, best cycle to take note of currently for profit chances is the Bitcoin cycle. Bull run just starting ahead of next years halving. Dyor obvs .

C f, concur. This deal values endeavour at £200 m but has reserves of 2.7 m oz compared to Cnr 600 k in a tier 1 jurisdiction. A reality check for those ill researched £200 -400 m predictions. I have never seen much over £100 m likely here and with us approaching 200 m shares and quite a number of options and warrants under 30 p . Also I believe a 15 % tax due in Nicaragua a return over 40 p is stretching it. Still decent return at 16 p if a deal can be struck. Very glad I switched some out of here into calibre when we were mid 30 s. No comparison in management .
