Nobody likes selling when shares are dropping ,particularly if it is at a loss . I learnt the hard way that on aim just sitting tight isnt a great rewarder generally . Always take profit on a spike because generally it will fall back . I just taken a bit out at avct to be safe .. You will not learn much by lucking out on timing ,the telling time will be if and when things turn ugly .I dont mean cnr specifically unless you comit the cardinal sin of only investing in one share which many do. I have traded much of my holding here on the way down and re bought as I dont have unlimited funds . I managed to reduce my average to well under 30 p .If I was a richer individual maybe I would have just thrown more cash at it but I am not and catching a falling knife is a dangerous game to play .
Anyhow glad to see cnr getting closer to getting most towards breakeven .

Phil,you do not know there are no consequences . It may not affect the ruling but if both parties signed at the outset that the terms are for both sides to agree yet more litigation could follow . An nda doesnt affect the agreement but divulging the information as I am sure star could advise ;) .Perhaps the ggg are following a strictly legal path . At the end of the day the georgians dont need to break the disclosure agreement .If they are in the right all they need to do is re possess the asset which is their stated move . At least in theory we only have til july to wait to see whose pants are on fire hopefully rather than 2021 court cases .
like mole I find it hard to see a deal in the background with all this *****ing going unless just maybe the georgians are giving frr 90 days to get a deal done .

Tester , it hasnt been mentioned recently although updating the pfs and a bfs was mentioned a year or more ago . I would imagine if peeps are looking to a t/o a bfs would be more desireable . perhaps somebody with mc ear could clarify on this . Maybe this is part of the reasoning for a smaller mine ,perhaps less stringent .

Mad p , good you are ok.I am self employed too and as far as I know the i r will use the last 3 years tax returns to work out the 80 per cent payment . Hoping that it works out but never trust these guys . My son is also self employed but only really earned this year up til march. As I say I havnt applied yet but had an email from I R about registering .Without wanting to be nosy about your circumstances I am just curious about you having to give monthly breakdown . I have been amazed at ggp performance well done if you have been in early doors . Things looking pretty good here and gold movement particularly .my take is that early stage explorers can make large gains . Cnr has been re rating lately ,hard to tell how far it will go . I started buying producers a year and a half ago when the gold price started moving . I bought cey,aaz ,shg ,hum and tsg .It seems to me that producers only really start making real hikes when debt is paid off and heading towards or paying dividends . Hum was the worst performer for me over this period but still rose. I have since sold shg and hum and some cnr to invest in biotechs for the short term but hope to beef up on goldies again . Omi is an explorer punt for me with a few similarities to ggp perhaps .
Cnr is a good bet for medium term with some short term possibilities .
You ask about geo politicals . There was civil unrest 2 years ago and longterm repression of opposition figures . Elections are next year . There are an estimated 100 k people that have fled the country which one would think makes ortega reasonably likely to win . There is a relatively dubious response to covid which may or may not backfire .
Worth cashing in some ggp to be spread around a bit . Cnr was the top performer on aim in I think 2010 ,the year I bought from about 2012 the sp has dropped considerably and languished . the same could happen with ggp . Cnr is finally putting meat on the bones of how it will become a producer . . A nice way to take a punt is with profits from elsewhere . Good luck if you decide to join us .

One reason they would want to keep the arbitration ruling out of the public domain is that if the georgian claims are true it would be very hard to carry on canvassing right wing senators to threaten sanctions . zI dont believe a super major is touching this with all the convoluted legalities . If there is some 10 b deal being signed then conversely why is frr spending its time calling the georgians liars via interview .It makes no sense to me sorry .

The arbitrators have had access to information that shareholders never have and never will see . The georgian gvnt have followed the correct path as far as I can see . they have gone to arbitration and it appears they have proved material breach . If you sign a contract to do certain things and dont produce the goods ,expect a kick up the pants .
The georgian side and their lawyers have stated their position clearly . Frr have made no official statement for a year and a half just a couple of statements via an interview ,not very proffesional .meanwhile zz had no idea why the nomad left with no notice but also states that they de listed deliberately . Nothing from this company can be trusted imo .

Elise,good luck.you have entered the market during a very easy time to make profits with some sensible research.just remember further down the line that things change .I am heavily exposed in the biotechs but expect there will be some heavy crashes in some at some point .
Back to cnr,I think everything just happens to be lining up just right so you have timed it nicely . Personally I think it mostly adviseable to de risk shares if you more than double your stake ,particularly on aim . Good luck.
