You can compare omi to ggp for many reasons but neither is a good comparison to cnr . You could maybe use hum as a comparison . There are far better multibagging potential in early stage explorers .for cnr you are going to have to wait beyond production and into debt free cash generation for big multis from here which is fne if you are patient but

Cf , the political unrest started around 18 april 2018 . Permits aug 2018 with a hastily arranged pc in between .I disagree that this had any effect on the delays . It was the long wait prior to unrest ,the inactivity while up for sale and pursuit of ressettlement that has cost us time .It would be far preferable that we were actually heading into production now than two years time when gold may reverse .
This longstanding inability to inform us or the market of the production scenario has held the sp back imv with the idea of small scale plant being a retrograde step for investors imv after quoting 80,100,120 k oz . things here could change fairly quickly though as we only have the info that the company wants in the public domain presently . Munch ,whats your point re omi . I bought at 4 p and mentioned it as a stock to watch . It hit 45 p .I sold a few at 40 p but have rebought and holding for medium term .From memory ,you sold at around 26 p on the way up then shorted . Too late to buy ,too early selling .Imv there are likely to be way bigger gains there than ggp . Re cnr I think you have to expect to hold for 3-5 years to get a large bagger and that is if gold doesnt crash in the meantime . You just need to look at the longterm chart to see the last re trace or the twenty year re trace from 1980 to see that longterm gold price is not easy to predict . Personally been re buying around 40 p here and holding till the next news and see what gives .remember predictions of £3.90 when permits granted in 2018 so going to just wait and see what gives in the next few months and re assess .

This loss is wiped out by huge gains elsewhere this year for me . thats investing .you win some you lose some .if you put it all in one share thats stupid .If you only pick losers you should deffo stick to premium bonds . Aim is definitely not for long term holding but then nor is the ftse anymore .
funnily enough I have been in a lot of the same shares as lady mapp . Omi being one of my best along with ncyt and a few other covid shares . Bailed most of them for now just keeping a few ncyt till dust settles and maybe buy a few on the dips . Trading is the only sensible way to be in these shares .

123 , fair enough . Personally I will believe the aisc when I see them at that level but a very reasoned presentation which underlines the investment case for when in production . What we want to know now is what level production will come in at and the funding scenario .
Obviously the gold price could well be much higher than todays level but they nor us can predict it .

A very realistic figure of $200 m when producing 100 k oz . So Without a toll deal I still struggle to see a sp of £1 in the forseeable future as using their 100 k oz scenario we are 2 years away from production .
I have always said I compare cnr to aim peers hum,aaz,shg and tsg for very rough figures .glad to see I am not the only one . Still sticking with my 40-80 p valuation for the near term without a toll deal .
