Welcome back drax - we have a very civilised BB so I am sure we all welcome you back - the old Praetorian Guard is re-assembling - I think we are all in for a ride back up to 300P + but have no confidence beyond that point - mid August seems to be the best SP point with a fall back of about 30% to end November then a roller coaster through to March 2018 It will be interesting to see how the SP goes but I am convinced that you must constantly watch the SP and "day trade" to avoid huge drops of 20% or 30% which seem to be a regular occurrence with HOC All IMOO Regards and GL with your own plans

Interesting article today in the Business Pages ref South Africa govt attack on foreign mining companies - AAL and Lon Min in particular- identical to the Tanzanian attack on ACA - this will increasingly support HOC as being a reliable "local boys" company in a much more stable region of the world. The more the African leaders destroy foreign investment and support "Africanisation" at no cost to their govts the more the "rest of the mining world" will benefit. I suspect the Organisation of African States has come up with secret plans to rip off foreign mining companies and sell their African assets. Next important milestone for HOC is the Q2 report in mid July - should give excellent results and may possibly drive up the SP although excellent RNSs in the past have failed to move the SP upwards - such is the SM !!! Looking at all the Africa oriented mining and oil companies today it strikes me that they are all being hit by aggressive political "Africanisation" moves -- AAL in particular hit by South Africa new rules - ACA hit by corrupt Tanzanian politicians -- CEY -- ENQ -- EVR -- FRES -- LMI -- SOU and TLW All getting hammered today ! New rule for me - stay out of Africa Regards all

I sold out at 290P on the way up because I felt that the SP could go thru 300P a bit but would then come down again and I work on 10% profit so buying in again at 290P was not an option as I do not think we can make and hold about 330P Today is amazing - totally red across the board in all lists with just a few minor exceptions. Reminds me of the post BREXIT vote crash. I am not sure what frightened the horses today but it must be more than just 0.25% on the Yankee rate ! Perhaps it was Mrs Yellen's unfailing ability to crash the world markets with badly thought out comments like "I am going to stop $4 trillion being spent to support the US economy !!! HOC may drop down to 250P again but I think it will rise back up very quickly - no debt to speak of -excellent accounts and production - Pablo veins producing much richer yields than expected. So long as old man HOC does not sell another 15 million shares !!!! (He presently does not have them to sell if he keeps his 52% majority control) Regards and GL with the roller coaster SM

SP now back to my buy in price of 260P so I am back in again - hope for a recovery to about 300P again - very achievable. Bit disappointing that our CEO sold 130K shares recently for £390K !!! No doubt his shares were bought at a very low price or were part of his free shares bonus ! Business pages today give a big write up to ACA and its problems - they also think Tan govt is trying to rip off foreign companies to pay for the new $3.5 billion oil and gas pipelines ! DT also forecasting another global credit bubble burst taking down SPs like at the Lehman crisis which brought in the world wide recession ! And finally - another dot com IT bubble burst - so we will all be screwed whichever way we turn ! Pro tem I have cashed in my ACA shares with a £2K loss until the dust settles and the Tan president brings the hammer down - he still wants foreign firms to build and pay for a Tan smelter to avoid "concentrate" problems but it is just not a commercial prospect - and who would want to invest billions in Tan now that they are misbehaving this way ? Regards all - ACA is still on my radar if they can resolve this crisis I will buy back in

STP and Eish - this reminds me of the Stalin show trials when he ran Russia - his cronies raised wild and unsubstantiated charges of treason against innocent victims who were tortured into false confessions then taken out and shot. The Tan govt needs billions to fund a new gas pipeline and sees ACA as providing the cash free of charge. ACA will be unable to pay billion dollar fines so the govt can seize ACA mines in compensation then they sell off all the stored gold and concentrate and then sell the mines at the same time as cancelling the VAT refund due to ACA. Tan govy gets billions free of all charges and ACA is faced with re-locating to West Kenya or going bust ! What a bunch of crooks

I think we misunderstood the game being played here - the first team had a brief to find ways of ripping off ACA - ACA BOD thought the second team was reviewing the first team findings but NO - the second team brief was how much can we rip off ACA for and the answer is billions !!! Any legal action by ACA would take years through the courts and cost millions so the only solution is an out of court negotiated cash settlement - how long that will take is anyone's guess but the corrupt Tan govt knows that ACA can only go on losing $15 million a month for about 10 months before running out of cash. Time is on the Tan govt side. Best to put these shares in the back of the sock drawer for a few more months ! Regards all

uncertain - a common fault on LSE is the crisis trip out which shuts down the site just when you need it most - the system was designed by British Airways I believe and is the worst in the world ! Strange but I find if you go through SOU you can get access but not direct to ACA !!! We may be in for a long haul now with the Tan President holding all the cards and obviously not being too bright on economics or trade matters. We are about down now to our liquidation level so either it goes up or it goes bust !!! I am holding on for a SP rise

so in a word they want billions of dollars payment for back taxes - nationalisation of the mines (at no cost to Tan govt) all the gold bars and condensate as a gift and the shirts off the backs of all foreign investors. By African standards I suppose that is quite modest - their financial adviser is obviously Robert Mugabe who has made such an economic success of Zimbabwe ! Sickening lot !

The only question now for ACA is what level of bribe the corrupt Tan govt wants to allow ACA to resume exports of concentrate. But the Tan govt will soon see that this is a "Pyrrhic Victory" - they win the battle and lose the economic war which will break out - ACA has already announced it will close Buzwagi mine over the next 3 years and they may well accelerate this business plan and also look to closing Bulyanhulu to focus resources on the new very rich goldfields in West Kenya !
