Dickyboy1 - looks like CITIGROUP upped the target SP to 150p with a "BUY" rec on 11 June 2018. I am thinking of investing in GEMD - looking good with its present run of diamonds over 100 carats but I think this week will be volatile across the board on the SM due to Trump`s World Trade War that he is waging - so may stay in cash next week - but be prepared for quick buy ins. If you did not sell then someone is looking after you - the shares are about 73p now and may well go higher next week - a good longer term investment. I do not expect PDL to give us a lot of 20% rises but 5% at a time soon builds up. Regards

Will 74p put a temporary lid on the SP ? I sold at 67p but will wait till next week to see if we can break the 74p level before buying back in. Regards all

KTT123 - I hope you made an excellent profit from the sale - looks like a lot of sales going through now which is pulling the SP back a bit. Next week I think the SP will rise again - subject to further sales of nil paid rights ! I did well out of my shares - I sold at 67p - not expecting any higher - I always try to sell just before the peak SP as the brokers are unwilling to pay top dollar and may well hit you hard on selling ! My most amazing day was in a small gold miner which years ago went up over 300% by mid day but when next I checked in in the afternoon it was 2% DOWN !!!! good motto for trading - set sensible targets and DO NOT BE TOO GREEDY ! HFX brokers will not sell even £100 of shares - goes to NT all the time and buy/sell prices are rubbish. Either the SP is rocketing or the HFX computer is malfunctioning. I hope it is a rocketing SP !!! Regards all

Now everything is red ! Bloodbath on the markets today as Trump ratchets up his Trade War with the World. But PDL is showing incredible strength clinging like a limpet to 65p (unless my laptop has frozen ? LOL). If Trump shuts up for a while the world SMs can recover a bit. But to be fair - the EU levies 35% tariff on imports of US cars but the US only levies 10% - Trump intends to level that playing field and if he does the German car industry will crash - their cheating ways have already cost them many billions in fines and compensation ! Diamonds are forever ! Regards all

considering that all the main indices today are in the red - both ACA and PDL are doing incredibly well so far today. A bit of profit taking at the mo but we seem to be climbing again ! Regards all

SP going great - just back from shopping to see this excellent rise in the SP. I did think we would have to wait a few days or weeks before the SP really kicked off but I am very happy with today`s rise - karlo90 - you were spot on with your 65p posting - any more good forecasts ??? Regards

Petra Diamond (PDL) SP is going up at the same rate - they have problems with GoT also - the corrupt govt has seized a big bag of diamonds from PDL and are demanding a ransom for the return (if they have not already sold them !) Seems to be a big coincidence that PDL seems to have struck a deal with GoT and possibly ACA is in the same bracket ??? All IMOO GL all

karlo90 - I was in LLOY - bought in early 2009 at about 40p after my predicted SP crash across the SM board came true - I sold in early 2010 at 125p when LLOY announced a 100% more cheap shares offer - the SP dropped to 65p and is now 63p !!! Although the fact that the LLOY BOD has been hit with massive fines for illegal activities and that has held down the SP - I am still wary of any cheap share offers in any company. I have done well in the past waiting till after the new share issue then buying in on a rising SP - hopefully PDL will follow that trend in the next few weeks ! Regards and GL with your own plans

I did not qualify for the Rights Issue - but bought in at about 55p so I am happy to let this run for a while - Petra has been tipped by various financiers as a good longer term share to hold and I have been investing for 50 years now and can see the huge potential here. For those thinking of selling out - do the number crunching. Although 40p a share looks great - when you work out the loss on your original holding and all the costs involved in selling you will see that overall there is quite a big loss by selling out now. I believe that the SP will go back to its upwards climb over the next few months and will be a good "hold" Regards all

Perhaps we could get some diamonds from Mugabe - he cannot remember what he did with $300 million of stones he was keeping "in a safe place" Possibly a Swiss bank safe ? LOL In the 1930s world wide SM crashes the top US financier said " Where there are vast amounts of money there are vast amounts of theft and corruption - and this is in every country in the world !" When the dust settles in the next few days I think that - looking at recent SP rises - PDL will return to much higher SPs. No one can tell how many investors will rush to sell their 40p shares even at 58p - so we will have to wait for the froth to settle before PDL SP starts to climb again - now the finances are settled for the next 12 months they only have to concentrate on getting back their big bag of diamonds pinched by the corrupt govt of Tanzania. No doubt a hefty bribe will settle the matter. Regards all

HL showing a big buy at 1635 hrs - not sure if it is uncrossing trade but it is about 135K shares at 111p for about £150K looks good to me ! Regards all

I had to fight to get even £1K of shares at a time - so the shares are in short supply - but not to the professional shorters who borrow masses of shares from brokers in order to manipulate the market and drive the SP down. Some even go "naked trading" - buying and selling shares they do not own ! And they call Africa corrupt ! The LSE brokers can teach them a lot more scams to get up to.

northcoattiger - the amount of gold concentrate that the corrupt Tan govt reckon ACA has exported actually exceeds the world total supply - so how can that be the BOD fault ? Ridiculous charge - AND there is a Tan govt man on the BOD at the mines - so what was he doing when he signed off the shipments ? If this goes to independent world judgement the Tan govt will lose big time. They has also pinched a large consignment of diamonds from Petra on the same charge !!! International companies are pulling out of most African states now because they cannot cope with the theft and corruption. Regards
