But, right now, there is one thing that comes to my attention, which I have never paid much attention to that old saying:"sell in May and go away". It does seem quite right if you look back to all those past years. Many shares often fall after May and then rebound after summer. So, probably will try to do that in 2024, selling some winners and buy them back later when they fall back, hahaha.

One thing I don't understand. SCS has already accepted Italian firm Poltronesofa's £2.70 bid plus 10p dividend. That's £2.80 per share in total. Why did MNG sell the shares for £2.60?

Well, I used to hold shares like a statue, watching them gone up making profit then gone down back to losses time again and again. Only started to change my way this year, still early days of learning how to trade profitably yet. And the only thing I have learned so far is that luck is the main factor. Now in order to do well I need to build up a bit of skills as well. That will take a lot of time and also will cost me a lot for sure. Hahaha

AHH, I forgot. I have also bought GROW, XAAR, Halfords and Dr Marten and sold them all after a few hours. All made very small profit. Should have kept them, because all but Xaar have gone up quite a bit since I have sold. I am kicking myself now, d*mn it.

Good evening robleo mate. Well, I am no better than you either, but keep trying to get rid of some of my losers and buy new ones. So far my best new addition is NWG.

Yes, NWG, can you believe it? Bought in at 180.2, then I sold that dog Aston Martin to top up at 178.3. Now after a month and a bit, it has gone up to 211! Hahaha

Other new additions including MNG, VLX, BARC, RR., MKS, RUA and TM17. The first 4 are in profit. RUA and MKS about break even, but TM17 is now almost 10% down. I took profit on VLX for £1k of profit after a few days. Only just bought them back again on Thursday. I also have bought and sold AV. and HSBA, both for a small profit.

Very busy indeed, think I have almost become a day trader now, lol

So, yesterday's fall was because of Glg Partners has increased its short. They continue to add to their short, even after a buy recommendation, such a non-believer in LGEN's quality, huh? So I gather the SP of LGEN has dropped to the current level, must have something to do with all of these wolves of Wall Street then.

Yes, the recent trading update was good as well. So it has a very good future here, suitable for a long term hold, but I wouldn't mind a bit of trading in between too, hahaha.

Well, RR. first attracted my attention when it was about £1, but people back then called it a dog. So, I didn't even consider to have a go. Until it had shot up to 170 and all the way up over £2. People were all saying it would do well with great recovery potential. So, I started to think that probably it's time to have a punt. All of these were just hindsight and FOMO now.

Bought this many years ago at around 40 something p, then sold it at around 60 something p. Saw it shooting up to over a pound years later. I was gutted for selling it too soon. Now, it is back to under 12p! Wow, how dramatic!
