Many people go for hi-tech stocks these days to fit in their get rick quick scheme. Because these new industries grow faster and their share prices rise a lot quicker. Most high yield shares are now out of fashion . They have been abandoned and they move like snails, even declining slowly. (Sad emoji face)

robleo my friend, don't worry. Although we are slow, we keep learning from our mistakes. Maybe we will never be as good as some of those clever investors here but we shall improve ourselves over time and hopefully will make us a little profit along the way...... hahahaha!

Good evening Dan and robleo. Yes, I spoke too soon. Thought all those uncivilised acts on here had come to an end but it seems that I was quite wrong. These senseless fights are still on going. Perhaps no one can do anything about it. As the matter of fact, every BB has got the same problems on this site. Simply everyone of us got different characters. There are all sorts of different opinions and got to be disagreements. Perhaps we all should learn to live with it rather than try to contain it. In fact, I have already got to used to it after all these years coming on these BB's.........lol

....will be May 20. Should be 20.85p if no increase or decrease from last year. The total for the year will be 137.71p and that will give me 8.61% yield on my original cost, second behind my M&G(9.01%). Also there will be very likely capital growth on top of that too. So, I am quite happy with my investment here.

Let's bring on Monday and see if this latest uptrend will continue and how high can it go.

Seems that someone has been ripped off. One of the after hours trades, 294.73p were paid for 24,838 shares compared to the closing price of 292.60p. Someone didn't mind paying a little extra. He/she must be very confident with DLG then........lol

You will not be alone, as I am a poor pensioner myself. To make the matter worse, I am playing fire with my pension pot. Probably I will have to go back to work when I am 75, lol......
