What a blood bath today! My portfolio has suffered huge losses. I have just checked on the FTSE100 future. It's currently up 18 points. I am hoping that tomorrow will be a lot more steady and calmer. If there will be some recovery then would be even better. Fingers and toes crossed, no more down hill skiing.

Also amigo robleo, it's only Tuesday today. How can you be so sure that you will win the competition hey? I think that I still have the chance come Friday. You better wait until the fat lady sings...... hahahaha!

That's great Jed, nice to be optimistic. Actually it's how the stock markets work. Up and down all the time so that people can make money from buying low and selling high. Markets pulling back is just an opportunity for one to buy. If more people are buying then it will go back up. It's just a cycle. As the saying goes: what goes up must come down. Vice versa: what comes down must go up.........lol

Yes of course but only for main stocks not AIM though. Well, we were talking about brokers' fees and everyone pays the same amount of stamp duty. So, I didn't mention it..... hahahaha!

It's the American inflation worries causing the drop.

I thought so too but suddenly, it's dropping like a stone....darn it!

Took a while to accumulate a tiny gain and lost it in just one stroke......grrrrrrr

Although I still got no winner, my portfolio is only about 1.5% down compare to the FTSE100's 2.23% drop. Therefore I can't complain.

Yo Jed, it does seem that you really have topped up at the wrong time but don't worry if you are a long term holder for the great divi. I think it's only a market jitter. This probably will be £9.50 by Friday, who knows........cheers......
