A bit of a pull back again today. Looks like the road to £3 or £3.50 will be quite bumpy. Never mind, we'll get there one day.....

Still no news about the net assets value update and dividend declaration but never mind. The SP is doing okay anyway. 5% up from the 102p placing price. Can't complain....

Let's hope so. I topped up and brought my average up from 240.5p to 250.9p. Hope that I am not too greedy...........lol

Couldn't resist, bought some more @1595.5p.......hehe

Topped up twice today. Brought my average down from 179.4p to 159.2p. Hope that I have done the right thing.....

Yup, most shares do drop like a stone on ex-divi day. The most recent example was Imperial brand. Dividend was only 21.06p but it dropped from 1688p to 1590 in three days after going ex-divi. It's still only 1590 now, 98p drop Vs 21.06p dividend! Make you think is it a good idea to stay on for the dividend or sell before going ex-divi then buy back afterwards..........lol

Yup, same as last year, now down 5.04%. Maybe it will drop further to under £9. Just like most companies' post ex-divi. NG is no exception......

It seems that Dividendmax has got it wrong. There is no net assets value update nor dividend declaring today....

Me too, sorry jatw was right. It was M&G that bought 21.05m shares of Taylor Maritime Investment, silly me!...... hahahaha

Good morning Ratbags. The latest RNS was about a new major shareholder named Taylor Maritime Investment. They have bought 21.05m of M&G shares, which equivalent to 8.292791% of the total share issues. The RNS showed that they did not hold any M&G shares before this. So they are a new major shareholder. Hope that this would help.

....one month earlier than last year but pay day will be the same on August 18. Just looked back to last year's SP movements. It closed at 991p on Jul 1. Went ex-divi on July 2 and closed at 939p, a drop of 52p(Divi was only 32.1p). It kept on falling until July 9 to 850p before recovering. Will this repeat again this year, I wonder.....

In fact, few day traders have already taken their profits and caused the SP to drop back a little. Let's hope that it can retain most of gain at the end of the day and more rises tomorrow.........

I wish I know robleo. It may go all way up to £3 or pull back to sub 220p. No one knows........lol

Yes, I understand. Each to their own, you prefer a gradual rise but I need quick bucks. We only just have different preference, that's all. A quick swing up isn't bad as long as it won't fall back right away. At least if it will keep some of the rises after the rumours then it's fine. I mean if it can stay up at above the 230p level after the rumours died down then I am happy.

Anyway, another 7p up so far, that's fantastic. I don't mind if this keeps on going for the rest of the week and next week............ hahahaha
