Large part were spent on running costs, others were used for share buy back, debt interest payments and of course paying dividends. And that's how all these money were spent on.........lol

Another week has gone. Was it great? Certainly not but at least it finished the day in blue. Let's take it one day at a time and look forward to next week. Like what Mikey has just said, hope that it will be the start of the journey north. Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi robleo, nice to see VOD is in blue(at the moment) for a change. Will it be able to hold on to the gain. Have to wait until end of the day and see............lol

Oh, there is another thing I like to point out. Some call everyone a de-ramper whenever they say something negative about the share but there are differences between de-rampers and depressed investors:

1) -De-rampers most likely don't hold any shares or maybe they are only holding short positions
-Depressed investors definitely hold shares and most likely large holdings and that's why they are so sensitive about the share prices drops.

2) -De-rampers deliberately say things hoping to cause the share price to drop in order to get in cheap or to benefit their short positions.
-Depressed investors only show their disappointments when the share prices falls but they do not actually wish the share prices to fall.

These two are distinctively different. Therefore we better make sure which category they belong to before you call them de-rampers.

I do agree with mole_man here. I don't see any company will buy VOD. Who would want to take over its huge debt?? Also there must be competition issues involved.

Hey Dan, sorry to see our relationship that has become so bad. But I know this will happen any day because I know how hard you were trying to hide your true feelings with your investment here. With all eggs in one basket can be very stressful. You gave yourself away when lashing out at whoever came up with a negative view or express their disappointments about this share. Simply you are kind of insecure just couldn't take it. In order to comfort yourself, you only want to see this forum filled with nothing but only positive posts. The reason why you can only read mole_man's posts, is because of he never moan. The reason he never moan was that he doesn't hold a single share of VOD!!

If you really believe in what you are doing then why should you care about what people say? I am not saying that you are a bully but more like a far too dominant individual, treating this place as your own. Attacking everyone that you disagree with. As the matter of fact, you are the one who should sell up and move on. So that this forum will be a more peaceful place. Then people can say whatever they want. We are merely human beings. We should express not oppress our feelings when we are in pain!

Sorry to hear that adv11. It's always hard losing someone close. Please accept my condolences too.

Morning Krustysmegma my friend. Just like what I said before, the fluctuation of the markets does not affect GSF's SP. That's one good thing about this share. I am hoping that we shall see more upward movements from here after the results. It will be slow but as long as it keeps going north then it's fine with me.

Nothing unusual with the results just as expected. It's a good read indeed. That's good enough to keep the SP staying strong. We probably will see the 114p spike last month appearing again later today.

If things are at the top end of what we have been expecting then we probably will see this reaching a new high tomorrow. Also the next dividend will be as soon as beginning of August or even at the end of this month. Will it be more than 1p? Let's hope so......best of luck everyone.
