The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Yes LoggyLogbot, MNG is very slow burn indeed. Holders must have a bit of patience, in order to reap the rewards.
Yes snakeeyes, I know you are one of the most faithful followers of MNG. I hope that you are right. £2.50 is better than £2.40. So, I don't mind at all, lol.
You have a great day too, my friend and good luck.
Same as usual, two steps forward and one step back, it will take a bit of time to break the £15 resistance.
Same here, I was in the red for a while and was thinking of getting out once if the SP recovers a little, but now I have changed my mind and will hold it as a recovery play. I am hoping that the interest rates wil peak soon then start to fall, which will help the house builders' shares to rebound.
Here is to 2024, onwards and upwards!!
I meant 335 not 235...😂😂
Should have sold when this has reached over 235, then buying them back. Now, I am paying for being too greedy, lol.
Slowly, slowly, catch the monkey. It does look like that 240 isn't impossible anymore.
Anyway, maybe those two short positions will be close soon. Because the SP is rising gradually. If they stay on then their losses will increase more and more, lol.
What will happen on the 10th? Well stevebt, that would be everyone's guess, but let's hope that the reading will be good. We don't need anything nasty to come out when things are just looking a bit better.
Let's hope that it can hold.
Now, £15 will be our next target. How long will it take to get there? No one knows, but hope that it will be soon.
Good luck to everyone and have a great day.
Housing market tipped to come roaring
back despite record drop in first-time
buyers: Experts are hoping the housing
market will recover after the number of first-
time buyers who bought a home with a
mortgage in 2023 was the lowest in a
decade.
Let's hope that house builders' SP will go higher this year and beyond.
Stamp duty is only British tax. If TUI is listed in Germany, then there will be no stamp duty, because Germany does not charge stamp duty.😁😁😁
On my second thought, today is probably different. It could be the reaction to the delist announcement. 😂😂
Oh, think I have spoken too soon. 😂😂😂
I don't think so. People already knew for a while. It's old news now. I believe this is just usual movement caused by the traders. Because TUI is an ideal trading share due to it's volatility. Big up and big down almost every day, it's enough for day traders to make a decent profit, if you can time it right.
Good to see it rebounds a bit. Hope that it will go back up to over £20 soon.
Good morning and good luck to all.
Added.
A bit disappointed to see the SP starting the new year so poorly. I thought it would be well over the £20 mark by now. Oh well, it's only just the first trading of the year. Let's hope that better time is ahead of us.
Happy New Year to all and good luck!
Hey Roofer mate, I'll go for 55.5p please. Thank you.
Also, happy New Year to all. Hope that 2024 will be much more prosperous than 2023. Good luck everyone!
I am not technical either, but just a blind mouse or one of the sheep of the herd. £2 upside is good enough for me. Let's look forward to £8.17 then. 😂😂😂
