The problem is OEM don’t want to fit it until they really have to which is 2026. Colin barnden writes about how amazing our tech is and advanced but its niche still, even in 2026 your only talking a few million vehicles out of 100m a year. It is niche in fleet and aviation too. Still very much jam tomorrow with the can getting kicked down the road.
Thats reality
Does the hat say
I’ve been invested for 14 years and all i got was a bloody hat
Awesome, this is like a horror movie, just when the guys look like they’re gonna escape, something else happens….
well, just had a quick look over at opti and yes it had a fair rise today but still down 75% for the year.
a lot of lth hoping this is the start of them making money as there have been some big names dropped in the rns….sad, i feel sorry for them. they probably feel sorry for us too
i had 2 chances to sell at 12p, what a ****
I’m not sure of the precise figures but they used to have 18.7% ish then done some rebalancing to 15% ish and have been buying again so I doubt they will be putting in an offer. They are here for the investment and wont stand for any silly offers
A guy at work i spoke to said his father in law (71) has undergone kemo for throat cancer but is continuing to work. He’s a lorry driver 🤦♂️
Bloody danger to all road users and DMS is the bare minimum. I’m sure there are loads of similar and worse cases out there.
This is what Fanny says
The GSR states that all new type registered motor vehicles with four or more wheels, including personal cars, trucks, and buses, should be equipped with ADDW systems from July 7, 2024. By July 7, 2026, the regulations will apply to all new registered vehicles within these categories. This means that all new vehicle models put on the European market will need to be equipped with ADDW by mid-2024, until ADDW becomes mandatory for all new vehicles two years later.

Loads of time to build up the disappointment, roll on 2030
To guardian V3,
I also looked forward to the VW contract and the aviation license.
I find it odd they continue to talk about RFQs over the years that mostly don’t happen, there is never any reason given for this, so it’s understandable peoples hackles are up.
Maybe paul has been deep faked and we’re all in a ponsi scheme
well, surgeons get paid a **** load of money, if it was easy we’d all be doing it.
Eh, not the way I remember it and on the Italian job Paul says they offered him the job then changed their (ken) mind, it was his baby. I’m sure lombards investment at that time hinged on him moving on and Micheal brown joining the board. When Paul was speaking with Ken there was visible tension between them, not ‘this is Paul who will be the new CEO pat on the back and big smiles”
He has made a big impact and the share price does not reflect that, yes he has got us all excited on more than one occasion with his premature statements, lets just hope that G3 isn’t like the aviation deal and takes years.
Doesn’t really matter what the target price for him getting his shares is cos they are obviously giving them to him regardless due to him doing a great job compared to the last two we had, would anyone else do a better job? Who knows and if we got a new one they would be getting shares too.
He clearly has the backing of our largest share holder who got Ken removed.
It’s always good to have someone to blame but in terms of the business I don’t think he has genuinely done anything wrong and his co board members obviously think that too.
The share price is rubbish and its not fair that we get dragged down with tech stocks but don’t enjoy a rise when they do
The market isn’t impressed, not like martin not to say its worth billions of kroner tho and fluff it up a bit
4 posts total…ok pull the other one
I smell sh*te
Fair enough, i thought it was just ncap that moved it 2 years and have subsequently moved it again.
I just feel bad for all the people i have sold this to, sent links for all the exciting interviews including the Italian job, telling them every year it’s next 12-18 months for sure. I know it’s ultimately down to the individual to make the decision but they wouldn’t have even looked at this if I hadn’t persuaded them to and sincerely hope they haven’t sold at a loss due to not understanding the whole picture.
Frustrating doesn’t really do it justice and I know we’re all in the same boat, just tough going seeing the sp at these levels with all thats been accomplished over the past 2-3 years
Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 of the European Parliament and of the Council 1 mandates motor vehicles of categories M and N to be equipped with driver drowsiness and attention warning (DDAW) systems from 6 July 2022 for new types and from 7 July 2024 for all new vehicles. The DDAW is defined as a system that assesses the driver’s alertness through vehicle systems analysis and, where needed, provides a warning to the driver. In particular, DDAW must detect or recognise the driving and/or steering pattern symptomatic of a driver exhibiting reduced alertness due to fatigue, and interact with and alert the driver via the vehicle’s human-machine interface.

The issue for me is that in Europe all new vehicles from July 6 2022 are supposed to be fitted with DMS, so we keep hearing this compliance timeline argument from our CEO, saying time is running out? Well, just seems like the don’t give a f$ck or there is no policing of the law or or or??
It doesn’t feel like we have had the great second half of the year either and our results may not be that great. Dunno why we couldn’t just get the full 10m from Collins this year too with hopefully income from them the following years or is it gonna be another caterpillar crawl? Given the worldwide fleet they have access to its not been a great deal for us
I’d be more worried about the ncap stretching their deadlines again. The contracts we have already won haven’t been getting filled as quick as they were supposed to be and even though we’re hearing ‘next year’ will be the inflection point, I just don’t have confidence now.
Where the hell is G3?
I think the AI simulated data on its own doesn’t work or else Nvidia would be world leading DMS supplier.
Let’s see what Colin says about it
