Again great finds from researchers on here. Suoercruise is not subject to an nda we announced our involvement back in Jan 2019, so why don't SM RNS every new model launch, you know just to let the market know they are making such great progress

Because its niche and high performing its $5k per unit not $50.

This is the really exciting bit as we knew about Ford and could guess BMW and Conti.

This Bosch VW link is very intetesting, we know Bosch have a close alignment to SM, they had a Bosch concept car at CES a few years back with Fovio branding same year our tech featured in a VW concept at CES. Everything takes a few years to come to something it seems

Here is my question: If Mercedes needed to license both software and SoCs to implement automated driving, then what was it contributing to the BMW venture? We know about the BMW technology ecosystem encompassing Mobileye and Intel; Aptiv (formerly Delphi); Continental; and Magna.

A close relationship is also known to exist between Continental and Xilinx for FPGAs used in assisted and automated driving control units, and is almost certainly to implement the driver monitoring function. Putting the pieces together we can clearly see all the details of BMW’s technology development roadmap, so the conclusion I draw from the saga is that BMW dumped Mercedes"

1) Confirmed Ford & excited about the future

I'm with SeeingTom on this one, for year ending 30th June we have removed guidance (like most other companies) , so if you are investing here its for the auto revenues that flow from FY21.

The one number that is important for me is cash, 31st Dec was A$47m, Cenkos forecast is A$32m for year ending 30th June 2020. I will be happy if we are within A$5m of the Cenkos number, so anything A$27m+ and that's fine.

Is one of the green blobs boasting about making a £1k, lol.

When should an RNS be released

1) When it complies with any nda, well we are named on the website so its not subject to nda

2) Is it material ? , the forecast for Aviation revenue is A$300k , so assuming we aren't working for free pretty much any amount of revenue is material.

So why no RNS, why no interview with PM to properly explain the most recent RNS ?

Tom,we might be in the Silverado but I'm 100% the Veoneer win is F150.

F150 sells around 640k units per annum in US, Ford F Series sells above 1m, but includes F250 etc , F150 alone is the 640k Veoneer quote.

Well they leave us in no doubt by calling the system EyeTrack so they have DMS, no clue on supplier as I assume EyeTrack is just their branding

"Some more details of new S-Class augmented reality HUD. Really impressive tech. Best guess is you would need to know the exact center of the driver's eyes to accurately project the augmented graphics on the windshield. This can only be done with a vision-based DMS. Am expecting something similar in the BMW i4 launching next year. Saw demos of AR-HUD tech at Frankfurt IAA in Sept. 2019. Also, is the "touchscreen" actually eye-gaze controlled? Ground-breaking if so. We'll know for sure soon."

So if the CEO at the time of the Oct 2017 RNS (which we assume to be Mercedes S Class) is posting on social media to confirm we are in the Mercedes S Class then surely SM may as well RNS it, if an nda is in place then someone needs to tell the chap who signed the contract.

Did anyone else attend a SM event in London Sept 15?, the chat this morning prompted me to dig out the slide deck, my 2 takeaways from the event.

1) PI have more detailed knowledge than analysts who cover maybe 50 companies , i blagged my way in and pretty sure a few others did. I remember detailed questions by a casually dressed gent on IP, had to be a PI and one of our regulars I think, my guess is either Goldenboy or SeeingTom.

2) my notes, I wrote one sentence on the slide deck back in Sept 15 "OEM product for fleet" nothing else that was my key takeaway.

So as ever folks, we saw this coming and we are ready.
