If we were exclusive with Veoneer then this information would be impressive.

However we can work with all Tier ones, various chip companies etc, Veoneer can only work with us and openly name us at their DMS partner.

So if Veoneer win any of there 9 Tech qual we win, if they don't win a few and Conti or Bosch or Joyson or whoever win chances are we win anyway.

Bogyo, I assume thats an extract from the Stifel note, have you seen the whole note?

Seems to me they don't take account of any contracts not yet won in auto and by definition they don't include anything for Aviation as SM have virtually zero revenue in forward forecasts.

I would expect an upgrade on each new contract win announced on that basis

Not true, Finncap had a 12p target and summer 2018 we got above that 12p target.

Broker notes provide information and analysis, which i for one like to read and investigate further, i would love to know what is in the Stifel note

First pint at the party for however can get the broker note first, but it may be a hard task, perhaps a bottle of bubbles instead.

I emailed Stifel a few weeks back and got a brush off, but it did give me confidence in the quality they would produce

The 7p target price is because we are currently 2.7p, hard to go much higher than 160% with an invitation note.

Doesn't surprise me that Ford are working with Mbly, seems they want the best of the Supercruise system so using Mbly alongside SM tech makes perfect sense to me.

Seems like Mbly aren't subject to an nda with Ford, HERE have also announced they are working with Ford.

As Terry posted earlier Veoneer have a results presentation Friday (so are currently in a closed period), I will have my popcorn ready.

As a side note Veoneer announced their 'First DMS win' at an investor briefing in NYC (from memory) the Friday before SM announced its A$50m+ DW and first win with the chip. There is a hierarchy of such announcements.

1st July 2020 = 3.3p
End July 2020 = ?

It appears to me there isn't much FOMO atm with this share, people think they can trade it or hold cash as they have all the time in the world before anything happens.

I like to look back 12 months and see what was happening then.

So the trading update was 1st Aug and we had a number of RNS leading up to it, so excluding board changes we had

12th July - Volvo denial RNS
23rd July - Auto Design Win
30th July - Guardian National Express win

So this year the results are 5th Aug , that gives us 12 trading days if they have some news for us this year.....

Maybe Volvo have long awaited decision made
