Got mine in the post this morning! to be honest I was someone who was dead against the farmout and suggested a no vote when it was initially proposed (anger, disappointment I suppose). Having cooled off and seen that there is no other option at this juncture, i will be voting a big fat YES in order to get this moving in the right direction (hobsons choice!)

I will wait until i see the content of the circular when published, but as stated I think it will be lacking in respect of the many questions we have. I suspect it will deal solely with the farmout. obviously this is a very emotive time for many investors, me included.
I will not comment further until I have seen the meat on the bones!

Personally, I think that the circular will not been seen until last thing today as it may not contain all of the information we are expecting, CPR etc.. as promised.

It is now a year since the wise men delegation went to visit the mighty JB for the great shareholder inquisition. Bearing in mind the current situation and the constant lack of information, would any of the wise men like to share what they discussed and the answers that they got? the secrecy act is up, especially in light of the poor performance of JB.
Please enlighten us all.

Pete, Conspiracy theory, I have had something similar in the back of my mind for some time but as yet it is not wise or prudent to disclose my thoughts on this. I do however agree with the content of your post. I hope that everything turns out well but on the flip side I am now planning for something less, i suspect many shareholders are in the same position which cannot be good for the SP. The bottom line is that the collective BOD know the answers but have deliberately held them back, why? they have material, factual information that they have not shared, take for example the financial settlement with the TPDC, it was worthy of mention in RNS so surely it is worth another when it is resolved!

If there is no RNS today, I think it is almost time for a no confidence vote on JB. We have all been very patient, apologies and platitudes will not suffice. We need accurate and factual information, not the half baked statements of a politician which is lacking any meaningful information.
if the TDPC and government are the reasons for delays at least have the balls to say so, they need what we are trying to provide for them!
There are so many questions that need to be answered but every time we get near to asking them we get fobbed off, remember the last two attempts. It is now time to hold the CEO and additional BOD to account.

Don't worry! a small rise is fine and if you're not in a hurry to get out I am sure the reward will be worth it. I am hopeful that in 6 to 12 months the situation will be much better and we will have exceeded northlands 1.2p target.

The content of the RNS is what many have been expecting as something didn't seem to ring true about timelines, clearly they could not leave it any longer as shareholder discontent was growing. I suspect many phone calls and emails help to provide the trigger point for such an update. Still a little annoyed that they have not taken the opportunity to update on Kiliwani, clearly another thorn in their side which they would rather not discuss at this time.....
