Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
I’ve got a couple of Florins and groats in my old money tin if that helps!
OMR, 100p is the level we will need to reach to achieve the 1p in old money, a long way to go and a big ask from 8.5p post consolidation. Its a bit like the Treasury and the cost of Covid!!!!!!
Safety, that would be great. In the back of my mind I have a thought that MM has taken this opportunity knowing that things are low, with an eye on improving figures in the months ahead. If the worst is now behind us, the post consolidation period could be a much happier place. He will need to deliver though!
Safety, I like your optimism, but half of this won't happen. My thoughts are drawn to those warrant holders at 0.6p, they will now need the SP to be 60p before it is worth having, and who would but these at 60p, I wouldn't!
Here's another school of thought, is it worth averaging down now, pre consolidation, or do we anticipate a fall in the SP post consolidation? there's a conundrum!
OMR, i'm in the same boat (or submarine!).
LOL!!!!!!!!!
GIT, GUG, the nominal value won't matter in the future, they are having to consolidate because the SP has fallen below the nominal value which is not permitted. It does matter how this is managed going forward and MM is on a final warning, perform or get out!
Guys, forget the arguing its a simple 100:1 consolidation which is proposed along with a nominal value that should not be breached again, it should leave the company with 77 M shares in issue. you can see this yourselves if you visit the company website. We should see a post consolidation price of around 8.0p to 9.0p depending on market performance between now and then.
My concern is this, how do they prevent the SP from sliding post consolidation? and how does MM propose to increase the SP to ensure that LTH's re-coup some of their 70% losses?
Personally I don't think he can do it!
My thinking is with volatility, less shares should see a more stable SP with less fluctuations, it also has more room to fall back further. If LTH’s are to have any chance of recovery, they would need that volatility.
Well, the truth has hit home now and Micheal M has right royally screwed this up. All those LTH’s that are 70% plus underwater will never see a return on their investment. It will not be possible to see a multibagger large enough to achieve it. This also opens the door to issue more confetti shares at a later date. Absolutely disgusted with Masterman and his woeful performance. I haven’t yet decided what to do, but dammed either way!
That’s great, had a cheeky little top up at 2.1p this morning, on thing is for sure this is still undervalued. With Paraguay on the horizon and some drilling to come the SP can’t stay at this level, or at least I hope not! 2p will be short lived imho, onwards and upwards. PS: well done to everyone at PPC.
All we need is father famine (MM) to announce that there is no bread and no jam tomorrow!
Once again he has fallen short and not provided all of the info required. On a positive note at least the plant is now fixed and fully operational (or is it?). If it is as MM says surely he could have confirmed the current shift pattern, oh no, it’s raining! FFS man get a grip!
Who would have thought that was an excuse for lower production numbers! At least we now know that weather has to be factored in, BLOODY HELL my blood is boiling and my flaber is gasted!
BigEasy, sorry to hear that this awful virus has taken its toll on your family. I hope and pray that it does not escalate again, and while I do not know the circumstances surrounding vaccination or lack of, I will not attack or undermine our NHS. We are very fortunate compared to other countries and feel that we have a world leading healthcare system where we are all equal. I consider myself fortunate in as much as I received my first dose of vaccine yesterday (early) as the local practice had spare vaccine which would have been thrown away. If anyone gets the chance please take the vaccine and help to reduce the number of tragic cases outlined by BE above. Thank you and take care.
Rich, glad to hear that you are OK. There is no place on this BB (or any other ) for such rude and obnoxious behaviour and we are better off without these people.
All the best and take care, I’m sure our paths will cross again at some point in the future.
Safety, what you have quoted is a forward looking statement and nobody knows the current state of play. Has the plant been fixed? What are current operating patterns? Essentially Michael is accountable and this on/off management of information does nothing to enhance his or the companies position.
Dreamy, what happened to the abundance of tweets and photos, there is no reason for this to have dried up. This only goes to support the theory that MM is hiding the truth, surely he could confirm that repair/replacement work is complete. He could also confirm plant operating times (4,5 or 7 days, and the associated shift pattern), none of this needs an RNS and could be communicated via social media. SIMPLES!
KRTH, yes he answered both in a positive manner.
GIT, you are right, who really knows. I could do without MM’s Jekyll and Hyde routine though! Unfortunately his actions allow the naysayers and doom merchants to thrive, and the optimists glean hope from positive news when he appears. It is a fact that the SP is in the doldrums as a direct result, it just makes me annoyed. Personally I don’t think he has learned anything, but let’s see after Q1 before I join the lynch mob!
