The Chairman just won the major race at Cheltenham this afternoon ,Constitutional Hill, so the Board should be happy for him .
Years ago I shorted this share at £3 as I thought this would never work . It went to £5 and I closed out and lost . Looking at the share price today I should have doubled down .
The BBC programme was very damming and I am afraid the price will drop tomorrow .
I think the future is black pellets rather than white . Therefore I think DRAX should buy Active Energy ( AEG ) which it could with petty cash .
Me too, I wasn’t at the GM today but read the statements this evening .
With a consolidation the price usually goes down up to 10% ( and up to 10% on a split )
So it will be another rough day tomorrow exacerbated by the rumour of a fund manager dumping their holding to get it off their books .
We will find out who soon when they have to report their reduced shareholding .
However on the positive side apart from the announcement re possible C/S sales the US quote will establish a different value for AEG . As the statement said this should be later this month.
In my opinion this is a solid company . Ok you may have to wear a tin hat for another year but people always like alcohol and hence the share price will recover .

I thought the plan to consolidate was to qualify for OTC on NASDAZ . ( it couldn’t be quoted at less than a cent ! )
On balance sheet terms the current share price is at a 50% discount to NAV without any debt , that might appeal to US investors
Re Lumberton perhaps we will get an update at the AGM , certainly shareholders will ask the question .
