Years ago I shorted this share at £3 as I thought this would never work . It went to £5 and I closed out and lost . Looking at the share price today I should have doubled down .

The BBC programme was very damming and I am afraid the price will drop tomorrow .
I think the future is black pellets rather than white . Therefore I think DRAX should buy Active Energy ( AEG ) which it could with petty cash .

Can one of you wise folk explain why with 90m bought this morning the price hasn’t moved up !
I took a few through Primary Bid last night and swiftly down 10% .

Me too, I wasn’t at the GM today but read the statements this evening .
With a consolidation the price usually goes down up to 10% ( and up to 10% on a split )
So it will be another rough day tomorrow exacerbated by the rumour of a fund manager dumping their holding to get it off their books .
We will find out who soon when they have to report their reduced shareholding .
However on the positive side apart from the announcement re possible C/S sales the US quote will establish a different value for AEG . As the statement said this should be later this month.

Yes you are absolutely right . There were two consecutive trades I think about Wednesday afternoon of 53m and 30m shares at .01027 by memory . So once this is cleared which should be very soon the price will rise.

In my opinion this is a solid company . Ok you may have to wear a tin hat for another year but people always like alcohol and hence the share price will recover .

I thought the plan to consolidate was to qualify for OTC on NASDAZ . ( it couldn’t be quoted at less than a cent ! )
On balance sheet terms the current share price is at a 50% discount to NAV without any debt , that might appeal to US investors
Re Lumberton perhaps we will get an update at the AGM , certainly shareholders will ask the question .

This should pave the way for their NASDAZ OTC quotation .

I am unsure how you make this assumption about related parties .Premium and Lombard are two separate institutions with significant funds under management . They are independent of each other .

The figure is now 5.4 bn shares . When they consolidate the price will be high enough to qualify for their OTC quote in the US ( already flagged ) . AEG’s business is in the US. The US investor has a different mind set regarding their valuation for Companies .
In my opinion the US would value AEG at 1p not at the current 0.2p .

I think the game starts from here . I bought another 5m .

I believe today’s sale of 7,663,412 shares probably completes the order from the entity below . Adding up all those 5m a go sells each day for the last few weeks must total 60m + .
