Quady I really don't have to explain mysel;f to you - but my current loss on my permanent SOLG tranch has been outweighed by my trading profits in SOLG since 2016 by 18 times, or as I put it 1800%.
i know you are slow. I know you are a 2 dimensional thinker. i know you have disabilities and special needs. You have no social skills. No emotional intelligence. You are stubborn and angry all the time. You are a telltale, and as flighty as a little girl. You are wrong and in denial. You are desperate for attention and validation. And like all cowards, as soon as you scent blood you become a vicous, petty bully. That's why I and others filter you.
But you need to stop spamming the board with lies and misinformation about "going into production" and "looking for a JV partner" which blatantly contradict what a senior member of SOLG has stated clearly in a recent interview. (That was the moment when you stopped "listening to the company" and believing them). Also the result of the AGM is self-evident and should not be contradicted by a surly amateur on a message board.
You wouldn't dream of posting something like "Director X has emailed in his resignation" or "ABC are dumping their shares on the market next week" when it wasn't true. So you must - absolutely must - now stop posting lies and misinformation.
Do you perhaps have a carer or a guardian you could check this with? I'm sure they would agree with me, and want to keep you out of trouble and from embarrassing yourself further after today.
The best Christmas present you can give yourself now is a reality check, and before I filter you again I sincerely wish you peace.
Merry Xmas to you too DBW have a good break.
We end the year with "going into production" and "looking for a JV" now firmly binned by the re-election of the board members including CGP who now want only to sell.
It's a new base, a new foundation, and the lies and fake news and misinformation repeated by those spamming the board with "going into production" tales now really has to stop because it constitutes market abuse.
"it is better to be thought a fool when silent than open your mouth and prove it"
Oh 1981 mate, unless you're the Slug under a new moniker do be quiet and stop making an a r s e of yourself. It's Christmas, I'm sure you've better places to be.
I was logged out so manged to see your post, you idiot. I don't confuse an AGM with an RNS.
But the AGM means that your fantasy of going into production or JVs is now over. The team in charge think like me. A sale is the only way forward.
Don't you dare hide behind dyslexia or just your own special needs. I pledged to leave if things didn't go my way. Now it's time for you to go. Bye bye.
Stukey that kind of thing has never added value to the day to day share price.... nice thing to throw in the mix, but the only thing that will deliver value to us small shareholders now is a sale.
The post-AGM RNS will be the point where the "going into production" brigade really have to shut their mouths and stop annoying the rest of us. It becomes fake news and misinformation after that point.
If I'm wrong, I'm riding off into the sunset myself.
Looks like it may be clear by the end of the day that WE ARE NOT GOING INTO PRODUCTION. Not with this team.
No JV either.
We are in the shop window, up for sale.
Well cougaz we don't know the result of the AGM yet so maybe the SP might move then? Just a thought. Duh.
I'll be switching to Premium Bonds myself if the main resolutions don't get passed today (and with the NSI interest rate up to 3% now, why not?)
If the Quadys do win today then I'm taking my leave of this board, as I will be genuinely done with SOLG. There would be no future here that makes any sense to anyone invested right now.
And it wouldn't be the first time that turkeys have voted for Christmas.
Fingers crossed.
I think my post was self-explanatory. For the retail investor today, we will learn if there's a chance we will sold soon, or spend the next 20 years getting diluted down to zero while BHP and Newcrest happily wait in the wings. As far as my investment cash is concerned, that is pretty existential. Never been a more important choice for SOLG, and i hope Irwin and the CGP gang win the fight for us.
It's weird that there are a few on here - like Quady - who seem to detest the idea of shareholder value when they are shareholders themselves. We either get sold soon - and make sure we are in a position to be sold today - or we consign ourselves to a slow lingering demise with BHP snapping us up for 10p a share in 2030.
Huge day today - an existential choice.
Try to be sold in the near future, or go down the Quady route (years of dilution, infighting, stalemate, constant talk of of JVs or going into production ourselves, no shareholder value ever realised, jam tomorrow forever).
If the Quady faction win today I'm outta here. I'll trade what I've got till that final tranche breaks even then I'm off because this share is doomed.
Quady of course is a loon, but BHP and Newcrests are dogs in the manger - if they can't use the straw they'll stop anyone else from getting it. Blackrock are plain evil.
This is the most important AGM in SOLG history. If we win today us retail investors may well see a final reward in the coming months. If we lose, I wouldn't expect the SP to be over 20p again, ever - and indeed down to 8p by close of business today and at least a decade of purgatory ahead of us. I won't be spending that decade chatting on here, as nice as it is to have known many of you - but it would be like being trapped in a padded cell with Quady day in day out, month in month out, year in year out till we are all as mad and as irritating as he is. One way or another my SOLG journey needs to come to an end.
Good luck everyone. The dice are rolling.
Two very good posts from addicknt and BnC earlier, I concur entirely.
Some of the long termer holder on here seem to have been ground down by the falling share price, and worn out by the endless hijacking of the board by the likes of MassiveRay, Stackhigh and Quady.
For the first time ever I have voted, obviously for all the resolutions at what will be the most crucial AGM in Solg history. If we lose, I can see the price drop to 8p as we then face a decade of bitterness and in-fighting and dilution with BHP and Newcrest our dogs in the manger. If we win, I think 24p is quite possible by the end of this week. Hence a jittery market puts us slap bang in the middle at 16p. Thursday is a binary choice: shareholder value asap or purgatory.
There are certainly dark forces at work - BlackRock should give any decent investor the shivers - but it's also time for brave hearts and high hopes that the endgame could be upon us soon. It's either endgame or endless games, and I think most of us are now sick and tired of those. Like BnC I would like to cash out soon, it's been too long a road now and none of us are getting any younger.
We now basically have 3 things ahead of us:
The possible placing of the CGP shares (hopefully at a premium to current SP)
The formal merger
An opening bid
Of course the last one is the real uncertainty. But we are where we are - no going into production and I doubt any further drilling of any significance.
So it's a holding pattern.
Given that, I'm taking a break from this board until one of the above happens - I'm with Mr Micawber on this one: "Something is bound to turn up".
Good luck everyone meantime, traders and long term holders alike.
Good luck Red with this and all your other tranches.
Copper it may have been £1.32 one and a half billion new shares ago.
Investor realism, not fatigue and the knowledge that time is not our friend - another 2 years of doing nothing except listening to Quady is not going to bag us a better result at this stage.
75p the lot and should be bloody grateful we avoid running ourselves into bankruptcy or a fire sale before then.
Why would any of you conclude we are not being sold? This is a nothing of an RNS but a sale won't be initiated by SOLG but by a buyer. All we can do is signal that we are not wasting any further resources on nonsense like going into production, which we have now clearly done.
We are in the shop window now. That's really all we can do at our end.
I don't often call for patience but there's no alternative now.
Yes I expect the sp to drift lower until we get the first sign of something shifting but at least we are not down at the 5p level that any proof of going into production would have crashed us to.
And at least the going into production argument is finally settled in black and white - it ain't happening.
Opening bid of 55p. Final price of 75p after all the dust settles.
Quady posts all removed again?
Did someone go running to teacher???
So Quadys ruked dont apply to himself?
