My phone keeps logging me out which is a pain because I keep seeing Quady's continuing lies and misinformation about going into production which directly contradicts what was said by a SOLG director in recent interviews.

I would hope addicknt that positive PR in a gamechanging sense is coming soon. I'm not going to be counting down the hours or the days, but I do think soon.

As I said in a recent post, I'm not looking for anything from the company now - certainly not money wasted on any further drilling - time to just sit tight, reduce costs, and make ourselves as attractive as possible for any first move bidder. Not sure what good news we could conjure up meantime that wouldn't seem insignificant, almost silly, against the backdrop of a possible sale.

SOLG is exactly where I want them to be now. After years of complaining, I am happy to put up, shut up, or simply wait.

I've been in this share at 20p, 25p, 30p 35p, 40p and even 46p, but have never felt as confident in a good final result as I do today.

Yes, of course it's news relating to SOLG but it's not generated by SOLG at this particular juncture therefore no RNS required from us.

Plenty of cash in the bank. We simply need to hunker down. We can't force a sale but someone will make the first move eventually and all the mousetraps will go off at once.

I see a sale price of 65p, which will do me nicely. But until then it's a holding pattern and we might as well be patient. Now that the merger is approved there is no other big news down the road except a bid . It's not the end quite yet, but in many ways we have come to the end of the road in terms of the SOLG journey.

For someone who hides behind his alleged dyslexia the slurs and vile words he uses in the context of the serious issue of mental health he is both shameful and disgusting. People like him stoke the shame and stigma of those suffering, and the words he chooses to use as insults show how out of touch and nasty he really is.

I have warned him not to post misinformation on SOLG on here that directly contradicts what senior directors of the company have clearly stated in interviews over the past few months.

I suggest, going into the New year, that we report him and keep on reporting him if he attempts his low level attempts and market abuse by peddling fake news - and also if he keeps attacking other posters with epithets that are extremely offensive to those who have experience of mental health issues.

We got rid of Slug - he is on ADVFN now and actually contributes some no nonsense posts - ad we can get rid of Quady if he doesn't grow up and start behaving.

Yes, the SP is 16p but that's basically the natural drift to the last placing price - and that placing was a strategic masterstroke so worth the short term pain.

The forces within the company determined to sell asap are now in complete control.

Nick has finally rediscovered his old "prove up and sell on" self which is a joy to see.

Old enemies like CGP are on board, and together we are stronger. They were a formidable foe, now they stand shoulder to shoulder with us.

The SP was higher this date last year, but SOLG today has not been in such a strong position to deliver for us small shareholders since 2016.

Yes there were six wasted years, but they are over now.

Going into the new year, we are primed and ready.
