Back into the 16s by the looks of it.
Let's hope "going into production" is just a temporary thorn in our side and not a permanent dagger through our heart.
Out playing golf?
Boring old codger.
Sid its all a bit complicated.
We are going into production soon.
But then there's the diverse book which renders he company worthless.
Shall I explain it all to you?
If you see Sid, tell him!
I see my post with the link to the picture of the Harry Enfield Quady character has been removed.
I wonder who went running to teacher?
"ONLY ME!"
The "Solg story" is currently being ruined by three disastrous words: "going into production".
The market sees the prospect as nothing but a money pit.
Get that nonsense out of the way and watch us fly.
Absolutely no way was HH Slug, and if HH has gone it's a great loss to the board.
Meanwhile we are stuck with a disruptive village idiot who - even on filter - manages to derail the board day after day.
Previously, that funding announcement - not perfect but at least non dilutive - would have been enough to send us back to the 25p level.
What's different this time? The uncertainty over the whole "going into production" question. They need to knock this right on the head now or we are stuck at the 16p-17p range until the damage becomes permanent and the cash runs out.
Strategic review my aunt Fanny. Just make the announcement now.
"childish fools"
Nice of you to pay us a flying visit to scold us all again.
But didn't Mark Twain say "Never argue with a fool; onlookers may not be able to tell the difference."
Asking for a friend.
Once we get that smelter on site - available from Amazon (see link below) - it's only a matter of first getting the low hanging fruit (the gold and copper lying around on the surface) before a couple of JCBs start digging the tunnel (or block cave if required) down to the good stuff, getting it in that smelter and giving Osisko their gold royalties in a briefcase each month (though watch out boys, that stuff is heavy).
Keen shareholders could be asked to come onsite and get busy with picks and shovels to help keep the cost under $50million per month.
I've heard tell that the first major gold vein is set to be christened The Quady Vein.
I love this idea. The market clearly loves this idea. Look at this morning. 30p by Friday.
We might even get 2 smelters if we have abnything left from our wages bill:

Onwards and downwards.... (downwards - into the gold and copper - get it?).
"All this "a sale is imminent" mullarkey has ceased thankfully. That rubbish has been going on for two years, mine construction will happen within 2 years and everyone will be praising Nick, DC and the team. The share price will be around the 75p mark, and all those that wanted (but didn't get) a quick sale will be well gone"
All that AND a 41lb halibut! Happy days indeed mate!
Bozi where has patience got us? Could have been out the door in 2017 at 46p.
We need to sell, we have no other option .
When we burn through that 50 million, what then?
The market isn't interested in us bumbling along either into production or just as we are, it doesn't cut it anymore which is why 16p is already calling again.
So yes, I want a sale. Time is not on our side, and a rising copper price won't make a blind bit of difference. I'm a shareholder that wants a return now, not a 20 year journey into dreamland.
We are basically back to the highs of last Wednesday.
Can't we please just get above 19p and stay there? It would feel like old times.
Tesla1 I believe you are Slug.
HH, not sure why or where this got started. You are definitely not Slug. The first time I saw your name here, you were politely arguing with him all night (and teaching him a few things). You also post on SAVE, which Slug would never do. Nor could Slug keep up the pretense for this long.
Bascially if you post something on here which others disagree with, they'll accuse you of something. We have had dozens of Slug profiles, but you are not one of them, I am 100% sure.
Zoros I have stated on here that for his DDOS attacks on this board he should be banned for life.
I don't defend him beyond thinking it's a shame (for himself) that whatever positive contribution he could have made was destroyed by his appalling behaviour. ADFVN gives him limited scope to misbehave, so we see more relevant posts from him.
I blame Quady just as much as Slug for the dire state this board was reduced to for months. All that going into production and diverse book and passive aggressive know-it-all mansplaining stuff would drive any good person bad.
But - as much as I like to believe that everyone is capable of redemption - Slug is NOT welcome here in my book.
Slug's been on ADVFN talking sense and he 100% predicted this today.
He's actually a decent poster when he resists the temptation to get involved with our village idiot.
Wrf are you talking about?
RK I suspect there is very little profit taking to be had at the tmoment - those who bought in in the 13s are probably long gone.
It would be great if this settled over 19p, at least then we are back at the bottom of our historical trading cycle, but when it boils down to it it's probably just the "sell on news" crowd.
I'm not sure what will boost us upwards - god news this morning yes but really just another funding arrangement that in previous years wouldn't have been in doubt anyway.
I still suspect downward forces are at work here and we may be back at 16p before we know it - the rest of this week see the the gloss come off this announcement.
It's great news but what we really need is an announcement from the company:
WE ARE NOT GOING INTO PRODUCTION
Those 6 words would put us back in the 30s.
As it is, I'm trying to figure out whether a sale will be less likely in the near future now - I expect the market will work it out for me. I fear it is already doing so. The 50 million will keep the lights on for a few months, but it won't turn us into a miner.
We really don't need a "strategic review" to dump this turkey in the bin. It's a simple decision.
Beggars can't be choosers.
Have a word with those that reduced us to beggars over these past 5 years...
