This is one of those shares that will perform over the long term remember the markets are down and may go lower but good companies like Oxford will come through . Now’s the time to think long term holds rather than short term gains . Be patient. Oxford nano, gsk , Abcam, AstraZeneca is a bit high for my liking. Don’t get despondent market is in bear territory but will turn when ? Not soon . but maybe look at bank shares now . Good luck guys.
Thank for that. It says to me buy Barclays and Lloyds . Which I have already . No good buying at the top and that’s why Lloyds and Barclays wil do extremely well as interest rates will go up no matter what. Just keep hold of L&G for the div. :-).
Peel hunt and beranberg views should tell you a lot about broker views . TAKE no notice of these pricks , systems bent in the brokers favour and the rest of the market so tread carefully.
In my view the best way you can be safe is to only invest in the 100 which most of my shares are . although some drop .stick with the intention of maybe having to wait if things go wrong . I have a few companies which are definitely a gamble but only small amounts of cash so if I lose no problem and they are long term hopefuls 2-5 years. Dark long term 5 years by then maybe taken out.
To make money you have to buy low. This share is low and will go up when interest rates go up and not before. Therefore with a tiny bit of knowledge that has been plastered all over the news etc that rates will rise then you can be assured that the sp will go up! :-}.
And another director buys. I bought at £7 , am. I concerned, not in the least as it a long term hold for me. Getting divs elsewhere so. Fairly happy considering the current market.
Hopefully I can bale out. Of L&G soon and look for another good div elsewhere. Good weekend to all. :-).
Popit, you don’t think house prices will drop ! I expect at least 15 - 20 % over the next two years by then there will in my opinion be quite a few handing the keys back to the banks as they will not be able to repay the mortgage as the interest rate will start to move north faster.
