Feeling very confident about the split now. As I believe both new companies will add a fair bit of value to my holdings within the next two years. I was thinking of selling after the split and subsequent rise in the sp of both companies but think it’s better to hold . Wild guess is combined holdings in both will be over £22 within 2 years

Maybe it’s a lack of confidence by small shareholders . Just a wild guess.

I have a very strong gut feeling about this company so going to add more today sp seems oversold in my view. Plus expansion doing well.

Kingsman, points 3 and 7 are the ones you need to know. 3, the person or fund disposing or buying. 7, the amount before and after the buy or disposal. Hope this helps a bit.

Wednesday is the day. I was hoping to add before but none ofmy other shares are ahead enough for me to sell. Still if the sp doesn’t move up to much I can wait as the sp is quite low.

Be interesting to see where the sp is in Nine days time. If it’s not up to 280 I will take the div. Win either way .

If your talking about investing 100000 in an isa it will take you a few years. If you want a good investment buy an inflation linked gov issue bond which unfortunately don’t come out to often .
For a long term hold . Most of my savings 80% are in various funds other 20% in individual shares. Luckily I sold most of my funds in November, reason was to change brokers to save time rather than waiting for my brokers to take 6 weeks to do it. The lucky bit was the funds were starting to drop so I revamped my portfolio in Jan - March. :-) hope you do well.

By the end of next week both barc and Lloyds will prob go up by 7% in my view as the ECB and the fed will be under a lot of pressure to raise interest rates. Just my view. :-).

And as the ex div day gets nearer the sp will rise. Also inflation is not a worry as they will increase the premiums to suit.

Just my view and I’m no Einstein. Expect 43p tomorrow at which I shall add. Day after ex div day is in most cases the time to add.:-).

Yep , nothing to worry about. In fact as the sp has dropped on quite low volume it would be a good time to add. Fundamentals are good .
