Been doing quite a bit of reading about alpha and have decided to add . If by any chance the owners meaning (sutardja) LLC try returning it to a private company investors at this sp will make a lot of cash. Rather than me explaining please read up.

Me no sell! :-). Seriously it will be interesting to see where the sp is just prior to the split.

I will be adding when the sp hits 107 and not before , unless the interest rates go up a fair bit. The markets still going down and will continue to do so .

Or Lloyds if you want to here the rabble , not all though.

Also forgot to mention GSK vaccine side is doing very well with the purchases and buyouts over the last few months and let’s not forget the successful vaccine trials .

Hi Denby, yes I’m ahead now but am not selling as I’m looking forward to seeing how the sp of both companies behave . I’m expecting the consumer healthcare side Haleon to go up a good bit initially so might then bail and await a drop. That’s the plan. :-). Will it happen , how the hell would I know! Think the 20% kept by gsk in Haleon is a good business move.

Like most I have been caught in a bear trap. I do have some cash to invest buy looking across the board at funds and shares I notice that in most cases the sp is still up on falls from three to five years ago . So I’m not feeling to confident about committing any more cash into the market as it may well drop another 15% or so. :-(.

I bet the government are really hating this high inflation at this moment in time. Like hell they are.

Think most of your comments are ok except the last banks are a buy I think as I’m old and remember when the interest rates shot up . I was a happy bunny then no mortgage and cash in the bank. :-).

That will be good for volex unless they have locked in contacts for copper .

If you have been a long term holder in GSK then you have had shares in toothpaste.

This is something that the majority of companies have especially when growing. Most would not survive if they didn’t have debt facilities . Good result and the future looks very good in my view. Don’t think this share is for the get rich quick boys.

Another good news item regarding covid jab. sp is holding up quite well in the market .

Excellent, that’s the clearest bit of info since the split was announced in my view. There may be a bit of tinkering with the % but I’m quite happy. I expect one or the other may have a drop initially in the sp but I think that would be a good time to add. :-).
