There is one thing I do know from experience is that the FCA are rubbish. I’ve had a few conversations in regard to some companies and their “help” was non existent. They have a rule book but turn a blind eye, or it’s to hard Stick it in the basket.

USA have bought 150 million rapid covid tests 15 minutes, from abbot labs in U.S. I wonder if this will effect Ncyt. At least the sp here is holding.

Agreed, sometimes it’s emotional and also the rhetoric. My thinking which has taken me years to get my head right is not to buy when the share is moving up that’s the time to sell especially if your on a low entry point.

Most of my money is in GSK sometimes I like everyone doubt myself but I know the FUNDAMENTALS are good so I can live with the drop it’s had . I bought at 17 average it’s now 15 .
But I’m confident about the future long term hold for me.

Oxford biomedica are a very good Strong company now and the value is going to show through over time , this time next year it will be over 10 in my opinion, they have done lots of business so far and the new facility is up and running which they have never had before which In turn will start to trickle though and fill the coffers.

It will be interesting to see were the sp is on the 16th I’m obviously hoping it will be up a good bit.
More importantly how the results are. Up and The sp should touch 9 then I will sell a bit, down wait and then buy at a low sp.

I noticed that Abcam are also considering listing in the U.S. I suppose it’s about opening up to more investors etc. I can see a takeover by bigger companies For both Abcam and horizon in the future.

I can see this dropping to 150 nervous investors.

Qzqz, sorry for the rant, GSK though are an exceptional buy right now, especially with the split on the horizon . When it happens you will have shares in two of the biggest companies in their repective fields . GSK/Phizer healthcare will be really good with the products they already have on the market, gsk majority holder. And the vaccine side is going to be even bigger than it is now. Which is already quite big. My average is about 17 but I’m more than happy. As I get over £ 1000 per annum Divs and think the future is solid. :-).

Qzqz, your the one talking rubbish GSK is one of the biggest vaccine makers on the planet AstraZeneca aren’t even in the top ten. As for only major pharma company again drivel.

I was hoping for a drop not a rise. Any weakness and I’m buying under 95. Otherwise will buy if listing on the USA exchange is announced.

No vaccine can be released until it passes phase 3 and regulators approve it.

Phase one end of August. Phase 1/2 end of sept? Supposedly running in tandem. Don’t know how that works. :-).

Yes just had a look at July figures for Ncyt which look good see no reason not to be in but my gut feeling is telling me to stay away, don’t know why but there it is, I prefer other companies.

And yet another good post by trek. Nice to have some proper info rather than the silly rhetoric and even stupider comments posted by some on here. I’m waiting for about 180 then I will buy. if it doesn’t go down to that then my cash will find another investment, so it’s no big deal.

Seadoc, I’m off to Jersey on holiday if I want a test before I go on the boat I was quoted £££ if I elect to take the test in Jersey it’s no cost as the jersey gov pay. I’m taking the chance that I’m covid free when I get there. :-)

Go on the internet and find the cost of a test. I was quoted 120 quid.

No I get the test at the harbour in Jersey, as it’s in the uk. Paid for by the gov.

Ncyt have one big problem and that’s competition. Notice that the gov is using private firms for testing and not public ones from what I gather.

Moderna have never ever made a vaccine they just have lots of money from trump. If your betting on a vaccine go to the experts, GSK, SANOFI, MERCK,PFZER, J&J, and about another ten companies .
