When you buy shares you should aim to buy when the sp is down and out of favour . I am talking about blue chip shares and GSK is now at a low. The div is secure .

When the split happens investors are going to have shares in two of the worlds leading companies gsk have been building on the vaccine side with curevac etc, and so far have 5 of its pipline medicines approved by the FDA , whilst the healthcare side with the merger with Pfizer will do very well due to they sales they already make and the savings the merger will make

To my mind this is a brilliant opportunity to invest for the future. If you are new to investing first thing look at the fundamentals profits,sales, cash on hand, shares in issue, debits etc, then go through the RNS to give you an understanding of what you are investing in.

Last how long do you want to hold the shares for long time for growth and divs or short term to dip in and out in the hope of making short term profits.

Inkose thanks for the heads up on the Washington post. Good that they put in a bit of the science for people to understand. I did the equivalent of a level science in Australia when I went over there ( emigrated). Whilst I was working in the oil/ gold mining industry was bored so decided to do some courses at the local tech collage and learnt a lot about T cells etc, and that was in the 1990s.
So I can understand a bit. Moderna are trying new technology so it’s quite new , will it pass phase 111 ,who knows . But it’s certainly overhyped, the trump probably has it with his breakfast.

These are the ones to watch. Sanofi, gsk/ clover, Novavax, GSK/Sanofi, Merck, Pfizer , As these are the biggest vaccine makers on the planet missed another two who I can’t recall . possibly Jenner/Oxford/ AstraZeneca collaboration may make it. Moderna haven’t even got a vaccine on the market yet, just had loads of money invested in them. Sp is massively overpriced in my view.

And size, renewables will become massive. I have just the one investment “here”. the rest are in bio Pharma . Also infrastructure funds and passive funds . Stay safe. :-)

Just sit tight, and don’t be emotional and sell if the sp goes up 10p . Wait for the rns that synairgen will put out in regard to the results of the latest trials. If it’s positive DO NOT SELL .

As per GSK, buy on the bounce. Expect the sp to go back up over the next few days.

B2H, of course they are speculators it’s what all private equity companies do, invest Money With a view that the company will make it then make an exit with a good profit .

Great big if, IF venrock acquires 30% of synairgen then they have to make a bid, which I do not think will happen . Synairgen will in my opinion Do a deal with a large pharma as I’ve said previously.they already have a deal for the nebuliser with Phillips, and are in negotiations with three pharma companies in relation to bringing it to market.

GSK, AstraZeneca, Vertex, my moneys on VERTEX. Why them three , because they are three of the biggest respiratory disease companies Around.

My thinking is the sp is being driven down , which obviously suits me as I am still looking for my sub 800 entry point. So I don’t get accused of deramping. Do not sell.
