Good grief there some people who are so called invested here that should pull there money and put it in the post office as they clearly have no clue about what they are invested in.

SS is almost a one man show at the moment and has more to do than hold investors hands by putting out an RNS every other day. If he employed more people you would all complain about the costs.

You seem to think that the country is awash with drilling equipment that is available all the time at a moments notice. Specialist equipment like the plug to cut off the water does not sit on a shelf on the off chance, it is a perfectly normal procedure but it will need the plug procuring and in all likely hood the rig back to get it down. None of this happens in few days. SS is trying to build a very small company into a big oil producer, a lot of you seem to think this is all going to happen in a few months it won’t. Either get in and put them in a drawer and forget them or buzz off, the constant moaning is very tiresome. At the same time remember you will be lucky to get 1.5% in a savings account, but if you put it in aim you can lose the lot very quickly.

For goodness sake do a quick internet search and you will find water is a very common problem and normally easily solved. If you are invested in UKOG do some of your own research it’s your money for goodness sake.

Sachs1 you really should not be involved in Oil exploration as you clearly don’t have a clue how it works. Even the very best and most experienced companies regularly drill wells that fail, baby companies like Ukog are an even bigger risk. Even if they strike oil getting it into production is a big cost eg more wells, infrastructure etc. You either have to take a very long term view and hope it eventually works out, or if you have the guts trade the hell out of it. Ukog and many other small companies have no money, so everything they do requires a cash raise. You had better hope that a major comes in and buys the company. I will hang on until the end and not sweat it.

Art123 are you a geologist or an oil man, no did not think so. What an earth makes you think that you know more than the team who are putting this together who will all be experts in their field. Contacting water when drilling often happens and there are solutions to stopping it from getting into the bore, it’s common and no big deal.

That’s all true Captain but with a good steady flow of money we should be able to borrow against that at a reasonable rate. CPR will be required ASP once this is proven to flow. We also need to know what is happening with the Kimmeridge.

If this horizontal can produce 1000 bopd + the 300 from the other well thats upwards of 17 mil a year. There should be no need to raise further money with more dilution.

Sadly Spinefx you have a point. There is no doubt that PB was driving the HRZ and I guess we will never know where we might have got if PB was still with us. Lovely man with real drive and enthusiasm and the reason why I invested. I am still hoping the HRZ comes good for him. There is no doubt that we drilled IW at that location to save money due to the readily available pad. Would be interesting to have heard the discussions about cost v location at the time. We already knew we were close to the edge due the company north of us not finding the HRZ. Just hope we did not try to do it on the cheap so as to speak Really surprised the core samples from IW 1 did not pick up the tar.

Couple of other interesting points from last night. Firstly the well is going to cost 25 mil which I suspect is because of our requirement to reach the HRZ. DW stated very clearly that PMO have no interest in the HRZ so it’s likely they agreed to pay the cost of the conventional eg 23mil but would not pay for the extra elements for the HRZ. That’s my view anyhow.

When talking about the Farm out he was asked about if there had been any interest from any Tier 1 companies. Apparently there was plenty of interest but they wanted far too much, all the acherage, all the HRZ, wanted total operational control and would not commit as to when they would drill. DW could not accept this and hence he went with PMO. He did say he was extremely happy with PMO and the expertise they bring to the table with oil exploration. We would be providing the Alaska expertise.

I was quite surprised that there was no real mention of Yukon but I guess everything is very much focused on Feb. I have a feeling that DW was hoping that Jade would do the hard work for us at Yukon and we could ride on their coat tails. With the delayed drill because of the silted harbour we are going to have to wait on that one.

Long way to go folks but plenty of opportunities to make cash during the journey and still the possibility of a large sum of money if you stick with it to the end. This next drill Is critical. All in my opinion of course.

Hi toffeebrads yes it was good they clarified what to expect at each level, it’s still going to be a derampers delight as we move on down and I suspect the SP will be all over the place. Personally I would rather PMO were writing the RNS as DW is quite frankly not good at it as he he sort of admitted tonight after the debacle of WINX and the it’s bad news, oh wait a moment no it’s not it’s looking okay, to oops it actually a disaster.

Redirons there is still a long way to go on this, 2022 at the earliest before this will be ready to sell on providing everything goes right. I have no doubt there will be plenty of chances to get out with a good profit beforehand but if you want the max we are going to have to be patient. Even then I don’t think we will be seeing the £ party, half of that would do me very nicely anyhow.

Very interesting night, not to mention the fun getting to it. Big DW still has his beard although looking a lot tidier, not the hobo look any more! Quite a lot of technical detail given by Dr Staley which was useful to hear and put the drill into more perspective. Although we are going for 7 different layers some of them we are only just going to hit eg we are drilling the edge of them and some are at the lower end of expectations with regard to being commercial. The main area being targeted is going to be the just prior to hitting the hrz eg deep. That’s going to make for a very interesting drill as we work our way down to the main target and I suspect some serious ups and downs moral wise. It’s going to take some big cahonies to stick with it, but if you do and it comes in then he ha.

I definitely got the impression that DW is far more focused on the conventional now than the hrz. He did say that this is the last throw of the dice with hrz, if they don’t get the technical results that they are looking for this time around that will be it for the HRZ. Getting the idea how important this drill is!

If we get the right result from this drill with commercial flow rates then 2021 there will another drill using the same hole but horizontal this time and if it all goes okay then we will be at the point of creaming the curve to sell on.

An important note, do expect thousands of barrels of oil from this drill, he talked about 100 barrels a day.

Is he going to raise money, yes but he stated when the SP is much higher eg after drill, do I believe him and will it happen in the next few weeks, history would say yes but I genuinely don’t know.

He did state categorically that there will be no consolidation.

Brom they are still a large company but I would not put them as a tier 1. I am sure DW will say they are and it’s impossible to argue really. I would have preferred a large company with Alaskan experience but at this stage all they are doing is providing cash.

More detail required on the ability of Prem to get into B and C areas, 15m for 50% seems incredibly cheap to me, especially if we have proven oil in area A.

Dread to think what we might have to give away to get somebody interested in Icewine.
