Reaper there was a guy last year on Twitter who told everybody that he had a contact at the drill site. He was also spot on with his updates and I wish I had listened but that’s easy to say after the event. About time this company gave us some good news instead of bad. Can’t wait for more badly written RNS from DW, hopefully our partners will have a say on what is written.

With all the bad news outta the moment I really hope this well comes in. After years of disappointing results now is the time.

Not to forget Brom that oil worker who worked on the Magaluk well who said he saw oil.

Denouza do some investigation, oil found in the same formation very close by years ago, it won’t be a duster but it will need to prove that is commercial.

Fully there will be no production from this area, if we find oil, for several years. If we find oil, then next year it’s a lateral well and again if it commercial somebody has to build the infastructure as it’s 34 miles from the nearest road. Hopefully we will sell it off after it’s proved up but that’s at least a couple of years away, again if we find oil. Current price of oil will only matter to those who are looking for a quick buck.

LP recon you are right, still it was never really considered a target but it sure would have been nice.

Not trying to be a debby downer but if we don’t strike lots of oil we will be all but finished. I would, however, like big DW to come out and announce that he is going to take a pay cut (at least 50% which will still leave him with a hefty wage) until the current mess the world is in gets sorted. Even if we strike oil it’s going to be a fair while before any body tries to produce it or buy it. We will need to all but shut down and reduce costs to the minimum to survive as raising money will be very difficult. So big DW you have had it very good for a while now, it’s time to reduce costs.

Jiddy Icewine as a project might not be a failure yet. Depends on the results of this next drill as DW said this is its last chance. Icewine 2 was a total failure and most certainly a duster, not one drop of oil came up and it was expected to be flow tested remember. I hate the derampers as much as you but let’s not try and pretend Icewine 2 was not utter failure.

As an exploration company that produces zilch you can only ever be fully funded for the next phase of exploration. The company has zero income except us, I would put a large bet that whatever the outcome of the drill there will still be another cash raise, unless DW is able to sell up real quick In order to fund the HRZ or Yukon.

Spot on Islayman, that is exactly what DW has said on many occasions. Creaming the curve for me will be good results from both the conventional and the HRZ which we can then hopefully go it alone on having sold out the conventional. Drill the HRZ close to the highway to save money on ice roads, sell up the HRZ and use some of that money to prove up Yukon. Ha in my dreams, but there are limits to the number of drills the PI can fund.

Dubia I have been In 88e for over 4 years, I have been plenty patient. What is so wrong with asking for some pics of the daily activity going on in a part of the world that is very interesting. I for one would find it extremely interesting as I am sure many others would. Good PR is good PR and the cost and effort in this case would be minimal. Aim is sentiment drive and after several years of 88 mishaps anything that raise companies profile must be a good thing.

How easy would it be for DW to get some photos taken of the ice road being built, the camp being put together, the rig moving off and then deploying. Cost virtually nothing and yet would create real interest. He bangs on about it being the biggest drill in the world and yet there is virtually nothing with regards to some decent PR.

Crumble the guy next door bought a bmw electric car last year and has just sold it, due to intense frustration at not be ing able to find chargers that were either working or did not have a que. He twice had to get the AA to take him to a working charge point for which they charged him as running out of battery is not covered. How many charging points are you going to need for 30 million cars?

Ouch $300000 a mile to build and maintain. I remember some time ago (years) we discussed the costs of ice roads and as usual struggled to come to a cost. I even emailed DW who replied in his normal short fashion, ‘no idea’, I bet he does now. That would make our road 10 odd million.

Jiddy don’t forget that is just the dalton highway, there is another 35 odd miles to get to the icepad. They seem to travelling at just over 1 mile an hour, maybe slower on the ice road so at least another 35 hours on top, so I would think the 19 th is more likely. Happy to be corrected.

Some big buys in the last hour or so, somebody has loaded up big time. This market really is so corrupt, if big news breaks on Mon/Tue the FA should have a damn good look as to what leaked and by who. We all like the rise but somebody is going to make a wack of money I suspect.

Del it does everything to look after SH, if we get a problem during the drill we have the money to sort it, if the drill turns out to be uncommercial but the HRZ looks good the company will have the money to survive whilst it sorts out a partner. Without this money if it goes wrong the company would almost certainly fold. This protects PI from a total loss. Nobody likes dilution but until we either produce or sell up, the money has to come from somewhere. It would help no end if the Alaskan govt paid out what they owe to these small companies. Quite surprised they have not got together and threatened legal action.

Yea Brom I read that bit of the RNS and wondered what he was writing about, normal for DW to put something in that we don’t understand and he does not explain!!
