I’m just looking for a life changing amount - sort my kids out with homes and move somewhere n the Sussex countryside. Whether that happens or not, who knows, but like DBD wanting an island, we can but dream eh!

Well ST, if that happens with my holdings I’ll be joining DBD in buying an island - maybe a cheeky bid for Bermuda haha.

The figures we’re talking about are scary. I’m so torn between topping up some more even at the current high, and trying to be sensible in accepting that I already have enough exposure - just in case.

Most people are using Telegram App now. Bit like WhatsApp, so DL that and then search through some some of the older threads and there will be a link which you can load into your browser on your phone/ipad and it will load the group for you.

Quite straight forward, but there's much more activity there and good discussion.

I think someone else posted that the timeline to get it ready by Monday would be tight, so more likely during the week. But, of course, we don't know and we can only speculate.

I know - but sometimes you have to take a bigger risk if it feels right - I won't be bleating to anyone if it goes south though.

I very much hope DBD does manage to get his island - he seems very keen and nothing wrong with dreams. It's been a great journey with the regular posters, and I think we'll notice a difference on the board soon.

So, will it pull back before the weekend with sellers wanting to be out, or a last minute buying spree due to FOMO? lol

I'm relaxed about letting this ride now - all the signals are positive. My avg is about 19, so to de-risk I'd need to get 40+, but to get to 40+ we'll have the RNS saying discovery lol.

Hope you get that retirement at 55 mate. Only here the once eh!

As you're aware I have a very large quantity of these, and I am wondering what I will feel if/when we get that RNS and the price really shoots up. I'm finding these regular up days enough at the moment - imagine a 10p-20p hike - jeez.

I bought on HL and had no issue.

I'll be keeping a close check on the SP and any drop will be tempting to add some more.

Bought back in now - I had sold up with due to my concerns surrounding the disagreement with the government.

I'm probably a few quid up too on the trades, which makes it even better :).

If we get a good announcement following this, hopefully company can move forward and the SP too.

There's no need to. The production of HE is straight forward and does not require huge infrastructure.

And those de-risked values are based on low concentrations (4%) and the hope/expectation is that we could be higher than that. Reading your figures just goes to show that there is little point (again IMO) of selling before the results are known.

Only reason could possibly be someone who was in from the very early days at 2p-5p entry point.

You won't get to 40p without a discovery now IMO. Therefore, once you get to 40p you are de-risked.
You'd only want to de-risk to eliminate the chance of failure, so that needs to be done before the actual well is complete.

If the first well fails, then you may/will see a price drop as that will create uncertainty, and then it will be too late to de-risk.

However, I have no plans to de-risk at all now. All the indications are that they will report something substantial over the next 1-2 weeks, and then I can just relax and know my initial investment is safe.

I think it's just a very badly worded thread title.

I think the OP is speculating that if there were to be an offer, Sir Mick would not accept as he knows he can drive this forward without selling.
