Not being funny but it’s about time the Prof and others caught up with the thinking on this board. It’s pretty obvious and been suggested many times down the years. As regards the increase in electricity demand , I would imagine the prospect of 40 million vehicles or so needing to be kept charged up might have be weighed up? We need an over-capacity of renewables alongside H2 storage. Super clean , super easy and ultimately pretty damn cheap when you consider the alternatives.

Can’t imagine any ‘bad’ news , just more of the same for the moment ie. minimal sales , high spend ( new factory + kitting out ). Expecting a drop but the recent falls should lessen the % impact on the day. Because there’s a great deal of this kind of speculation I’m also expecting people to pile in post drop. Going to be interesting. Longer term , exciting.

Finding this time around really tricky. Expecting a buy in opportunity. Any thoughts?

Stick the card prices up 5% , still miles cheaper than anyone else , profit up exactly the sames amount as revenue. Problems solved, easy peasy , now for climate change.....

I think you’re right re the results reaction OB. That said we’ve had £30M or so of orders on the books for a while. Have we fulfilled any recently , I don’t know , but it could help the %’s. Any major retrace will see a re-investment from me. As you say the future is bright , we will see the £2 for sure and theoretically that should prove to be small beer in time. I’m not a fan of volatility , it gives me kittens , but I have traded a bit successfully on ITM and CWR (today actually). Ps. Any views on good divi stocks folks? ( I’m keen on PHP and UKW but otherwise unsure).

I think you’re right about Shell et al , ToneMan. I guess in the meantime they could get tarred ( no apologies for great pun ) with the massive and growing self grown FF brush. As well as these guys I would love ITM to get a tie in with Vestas or similar. There’s a great case for mopping up un-needed green energy produced during low demand periods. Convert to H2 , use whenever and however you want.

I’m out of oil too , as of last week. Can’t pretend it was on principle , can’t say I won’t invest again. On both counts I wish I could. Starting to get a bit boring and looking at divi stocks. ITM profits ( who’d have thought it ) are helping plans for an early retirement. Have sold circa 40% over the last month or so in the painful knowledge that the SP is still early doors. Sitting tight now..... probably...

Well said Bilbs , on the mark as always. Imagine a parallel world where H2 was the original go to power source , produced indirectly from the wind and the sun. Someone then realises that if you dig deep enough far out in the oceans , you can find some black fluid that burns. Then someone builds an incredibly complex engine to burn it in. How would the costing comparisons sit ? Finally , now realise that the new stuff chokes......

ITM's production of H2 can be 24/7 , 365. The pattern for charging vehicles will be in much more intensive periods. Fast chargers amplify the problem.

Hellie. Bilbs pricing is per unit produced. Economies of scale more than anything.

Pluck it from the air , use it and/or never lose it..... store as H2. In a weird way it could be seen as extremely cheap rather than the opposite (if on occasions it is lost or missed out on). Making sense here? GWA

On a volatile share , like ITM this week , it’s possible to buy and sell several times on the same day let alone same week. Obviously this affects the totals but in reality it’s the same shares getting turned over.

Look's a pretty solid update to me. Could be a hell of a lot worse. I think we'll see the SP get back comfortably over £3 soon but won't be testing the highs without new news.

Looks like a good buy Bunti. I think we're all nervous about the half year results. They're probably not going to set the world alight ( apologies to all East coast Aussies , bad taste ) but they are for the 'old ITM'. We haven't had any Linde inspired deals as yet but these future projects are bigguns so realistically it's too early. That said I bet the duck on water syndrome is in operation and the legs are going pretty frantically to bring us news. Good luck.

What goes up? Almost reassuring to see a bit of a bump. Up’s every day , whatever next? Still plenty of purchasers out there validating the rise we’ve seen over the last year. Fancy it will bump around a bit until the next piece of news. An unexciting trading update will be a buy opportunity for me , whilst a decent contract RNS should relight the blue touch paper. Which will it be.....
