Cheers Coolcat. I appreciate the SP responded yesterday but I’m not sure the significance of the announcement has really hit home.

Boris is an absolute clown , agreed , compared with Trump though at least he’s a friendly chump. However his diesel move yesterday is fantastic news for ITM. Boris may not be thinking H2 but ironically he has cleared the pathway significantly.. Pressure on the car industry has been raised , all the guys with hybrids on their drawing boards will be majorly peed off. The guys who are considering H2 models have less to hold them back as they see how serious the government is and how inadequate the charging infrastructure is for EV’s. Additionally , and most importantly , 5 years has been taken off the time period to get the grid up to speed. Now that HAS to be a nightmare for the power companies. On another note , Darren , the only thing your are obviously going short on is ‘wits’. That said , there will be ups and downs. It’s a share.

PM44. Exactly right. The government can achieve it on the cheap. Set some harsh rules , show the car and fuel companies that it’s in their interests to get on with it. Could get very interesting very quickly.

Cheers Bilbs. I was only joking about the needing a bike thing but I have to add the old ones are the best. Unless you pay the max there is literally nothing made properly these days. In some areas you can pay the max and still get very little lifespan..... mobile phones? It’s clever I guess but doesn’t say much for our society in looking after the planet’s resources.

Nuclear needs to go. Too risky , too dirty. Not yet though. Pile on the renewables , link to sufficient storage systems. Stand back , watch the sun shine , the wind blow ( possible but need a tree etc ) and the tide come in. Clean , clean , clean , breathe that air in!

Australia is basically uninhabited so I’m guessing their current predicament has very little to do with self induced climate change. I honestly don’t know how it works but maybe living at the arse end of the planet doesn’t help. I thing we’ve exported more than just convicts over the last couple of hundred years. They are suffering now for sure , I would hate to live there and that’s a real shame as we considered Brisbane 20 or so years ago. Great place , too damn hot.

You’re right ToneMan. However you also need to compare 1 factory against countless drilling rigs , oil platforms , oil tankers , giant refineries etc etc etc. H2 is in its infancy , diesel is dead(soon) , petrol will follow, nuclear is not being replaced , there’s some rather large energy gaps on the horizon. Sheffield is Factory 1.

Let’s hope progress is bisque , ..... sorry brisk. MCAP speculation is really tricky. When a ‘new’ business segment is growing rapidly perceived key players can hit massive PE ratios , sometimes in the 00’s. Four years from now really isn’t that far ahead and let’s face it people are going to get damn excited when sales head towards expectations. An MCAP of £2B could well be less than peanuts.

Sentiment is the wrong word BF. Prospects would be better. The prospect of H2 being a major fuel of the future and the prospect of ITM being slap bang in the middle. The numbers are mind boggling even if we only play a part.

“Happy” because? It’s finally done (which it isn’t) or it’s good news?

Had hoped for slightly better sales over the period. Seems like we’ve been carrying 30m of orders for ever? Much as I hate the ‘pipeline’ approach it’s good to see a rise of nearly 10m.
As regards the report ITM just don’t do flowery, and that’s good news. The pictures they paint are wholly produced in charcoal , there’s no bright colour palette. No bigging up , no making excuses.
Compared to previous updates I would say the SP is holding up well. In summary , much as expected , early doors , fantastic prospects , comparisons with SXX frankly ridiculous and I’m invested there too.

Cheers Bilbs. Very interesting read and glad you can sleep at night. I would surmise that your approach is way more sensible than most. Part of my real job involved a great deal of forecasting. The one thing I learnt was you’re never right , just wrong by varying degrees. You ’re up , you’re down , hopefully they nett out and you end up roughly in the right ( political ) place. In terms of investments you win , you lose , the secret is to make sure none of the losses are significant. Conversely every now and then you win big. My big wins have come from sticking with my gut. Companies like Vestas , AMS , various others and latterly ITM. I’m pretty sure ITM has a long way to go , ups and downs expected for sure , Monday will be interesting and I’m expecting a chance to play. If the results don’t produce the normal retreat it could be we see the opposite and back up to highs , possibly more. Great place to be and good luck , hopefully ITM will carry on smashing your 11%’s.

Bilbs. Not long ago you described ITM as a dog of a share and the CEO as worse than useless. I’m guessing the SP was maybe in the 20p’s? We’re all still here though so how have your measurements stacked up pre , during , and post your remarks? I’m not disagreeing with you I just find it hard to believe a scientific approach will always win out. It’s like the chart guys , endless theories and patterns , all superseded by a simple RNS most of the time.

It’s always a guessing game , made easier by volatility. I played a few yesterday too , bought at 95p , sold today at 107p. Didn’t want everything tied up on Monday morning and still hold a bundle. If it does drop , and I’m really unsure if it will , I will most likely buy that 30k back plus a few more. Made a quick £3200 , great work if you can get it. My system is called gut feel backed up by long term faith in a cracking prospect. GWA
