The first trade reported on friday was simply a late trade, this was then re-reported as an "LC" trade, in other words something in the bargain has been amended, such as settlement date. The reversal trade today could simply be the reporting of the cancellation of the original trade, prior to amendment. IMO.

We haven't heard anything since, although someone who went to the investor evening intimated that the company may put out a trading update 2/3rd week of april with better numbers. Alright, that time frame has passed, however, an update will come. If you were not willing to sell at 6p or 5p, why would you sell at 4.5p, when there has been no announcement of any kind since the directors dealing and the interims. The only thing that has changed that we know of since these announcements is the share price. It all comes down to your trust in the management, there are several new faces in the management team, who have yet to prove theirselves. Even though brian, probably doesn't have much day to day involvement, I do think his influence is felt, as I recall him saying in the global autumn finance conference in 2011 that the "company is better off not having a mine", even though kilimapesa was in progress and so was proving up the other two exploration projects. So, to me demetri leaving was sour grapes because brian got his way. Ian seems to be a typical finance man and not the salesman that most CEO's are. As long as the management have implemented the measures that they stated and are starting to see the fruits of this, then we will hear soon enough and the confidence in the stock will increase. We are where we are, because there has been no communication since the lousy interims and outlook for the rest of FY14, whilst positive is not going to be stunning, as it will simply be eliminating the losses. Trading update and news on a JV in Kenya are expected, along with licence granting in Burkina faso for the third recovery plant and possible divestment of the two mining projects are still outstanding as well. LSE never disclose any conditions, apart from indicating that there are some. Sometimes trades are agreed off market and then put through the market to facilitate, so the price could have been agreed earlier.

capitulation!! - who knows, the reasons are far and wide. Whoever sold will have their reasons, in the same way the buyer will have theirs. It could be the final chunk of a much larger sell order and a holdings rns could be on its way. Or someone just simply cannot wait any longer and had to sell at whatever price for a commitment elsewhere. We may never know.

As the share price chugs its way down on the back of no news and boredom, we should remember that the company should, at some point provide us with an update on progress, with regards to the structural changes that were put in place at the recovery plants and how this is playing out so far. We should also remember that the wheels of bureaucracy in Kenya are turning at their usual slow speed and our position on kilimapesa should become clear soon. News on the jv would also be nice. I picked up a few more at 4.7p today.
