With gold rising, due to more fear in the markets, goldplats return to profitability and the future plans in place, there is a lot more strength in goldplat now, than there has been for some time. There will be those that book gains, or sell to simply exit at breakeven after waiting for ages, however, the trend for goldplat has changed and is looking good now.

We have a bit of a spike in volume, which looks like some more capitulation from bored holders, quite often its the point the market turns up, in situations like this. We may get a decent rise to cash value here. Possibly

I have built a small position, under 1.3p. The recent meeting, whereby most of the BOD were voted back in, appears to have the backing of Hedgehog llc, who own 46m shares. As to their motives, who knows, however, any group of disruptive shareholders, would need to bear in mind their stance. I have emailed Anthony, no reply yet, although I only sent it yesterday evening.

With 3.5p in cash and a share price of 1.25p to buy - we have a good margin of safety here. The market should close the gap between cap and cash, as it is quite a disconnect. Company has no debt and $659k of obligations over the next 3 years, as things stand. The rest of the expenditure is salaries and associated costs, such as listing fees.

Interim results to 31st December must be published no later than 31st March, in accordance with AIM rules. Could be anytime in march. Last year was the 30th, the year before was the 10th. It all depends on when Gerard schedules the board meeting, which includes signing off on the interims, prior to publication.

We are expecting the first shipments of mill liners from the producers, to the new shot blast facility in ghana over the next week or so. If we receive an operations/trading update prior to the interims, I am looking for confirmation that the pre-payment facility was squared off as planned and that the backlog of material has been cleared as planned and the final amounts of money from this backlog pipeline are flowing into the company. Some indication of the performance of the new elution tower would be nice. Gerard stated in the interview that the momentum was continuing, however, being in a closed period he would not say much more. Things are looking better so far.

Goldplat wishes to evaluate this TSF with a view to reprocessing the material using updated recovery methodologies. .............. The drilling of the resource is relatively straightforward; the tailings are above ground, fairly shallow, appear to be relatively ‘uncontaminated’ with rock or other foreign ‘hard’ material and, appear to be relatively dry. ................... The statistical modelling indicates a further 230,000 tonnes of footwall soil lying immediately below the slimes containing significant quantities of gold, uranium and silver. It is likely that the gold migration into the footwall could be greater than reflected in this resource and thus there is upside potential in this area. ........................... It is possible that the exact tonnage of the TSF could be modified by the lack of elevation data of the slimes/footwall contact – this is due to the fact that not all boreholes penetrated to the footwall. A sudden increase in volume at all time lows, is quite often a good sign of the turn of the direction of the stock. We could be looking at a further move upwards. Perhaps the leaky ship is going to generate some news soon.

Seeing as AEY trade, some 66% below current cash value and being tied into the oil sector, antrim has been flung out with the rest, despite its current positon. Not that it has done much for the last couple of years. We are in an energy related stock, which is beaten down and has no exposure to the oil price and no debts to service, as it is so undervalued, at this level it has minimal downside and is likely to "tread water" until a decent catalyst comes along. The margin of safety here is large and any capital invested at these levels, has a much greater chance of being preserved in this sector than most other places in the oil patch.

With Mr Potter holding the roles of CEO, CFO and president, after Mr Greer stepped down, he has been calling the shots since November 2014. He has overseen all the necessary steps to get to this point, which is a clean cash shell, with a couple of existing legacy assets, no debt and a fare bit of cash. What his next move will be, should be interesting, as they cannot sit there with 4 directors making up reserves/compensation and audit committee, one managing director and Mr Potter all drawing wages for doing nothing whatsoever, apart from taking turns in making the tea!! We will see and with the heavy discount to cash we have quite a good margin of safety when buying at these prices.

When I look at the trades from Friday, I see the effect my purchases had on direction of trade, effectively cancelled out by sells of a similar size straight afterwards, then an additional sell, which prompted the small drop in price. However, after that there is a decent size purchase, followed by two minimal sells. On balance there were, marginally more buys than sells, yet the price stayed down. This does look as though the mms are trying to make it "toxic" so as to encourage further selling. We should see the price start to run up again, even if it is just to close the very large gap between cash and mcap.

There is always the chance of an all share offer for antrim, by a cash hungry company with production assets that have a debt liability they are struggling with. I would only expect to see something like that show up and be accepted if the board are given some "sweetners" such as jobs in the acquirer or options/warrants. There is the chance of antrim buying a bit of production, although not any time soon, I wouldn't have thought. They could RTO someone else. I would expect them to do something at some point this year as more distressed situations will present theirselves, worthy of looking over.

sure.. according to the November corporate update, they state the amounts invoiced to former j/v partners for their portion of abandonment costs have been received. That would be the $4.4mil. They go on to say, in the next paragraph, that unrestricted cash is $9.7m after subtracting trade payables, this to me is the lower figure and when converted to GBP is £6.3m. I am working on a valuation from an unrestricted cash point of view, to get a lower bar. Any other cash they have, appears to be allocated for one reason or another and as this company has no revenue, I consider it effectively spent already. I like to then try and add in a years worth of wages/other costs and see what cash per share I am left with today. This stock trades way below even the most cautious valuation that I can come up with so far.

They are supposed to propose a work programme, no later than early april of this year to comply with the licence conditions of FEL 1/13. This is supposed to contain an exploration drill. They may propose a work programme, although I suspect any thoughts of a drill would be at the back end of that four year program. The other assets, fyne and Erne most probably will disappear. This leaves antrim today, as a fairly clean cash shell, trading at way below value. Apart from the results of the atlantic margin licencing rounds, to be announced during the next two months, the Q4 report at the end Feb and the possible work proposal for FEL 1/13, there isn't much else to expect, unless there is a sudden desire by the board to buy some production.
