The elution plant has already been purchased and is in south africa at present. They spent £460k on the elution plant in south africa during FY2016. They have scheduled £18k of phase one for the FY2017 for the elution column in ghana. The bulk of the installation costs will be in the july 2017 onwards period.

No problem. We have the CIL plant coming on line in kenya this month, we should get some news on the tailings project and gold is sat around the average price for goldplats FY 2015/2016, so we are on track to exceed last years figures, seeing as gold has been much higher for most of H1.

a good update, op profit of £974k overall for the quarter, rand issue contained to an isolated contract, business with rand refinery continuing as normal. Gold licences are taking longer to renew in ghana and a temp licence is being used, which is a good indication that the issues that occured there some time ago, have been rectified, otherwise they would not have a temp licence. I like the removal of tailings in ghana to landfill, which gives us room for expansion.

Last year they put out an update on the same day, so I am hoping for the Q1 update tomorrow.

We are expecting the Q1 numbers as well, anytime soon. So they may make that an op update on the same day as the agm.

From Mergermarkets yesterday: Goldplat [LON:GDP], a gold-recovery and mining company, has been approached by potential buyers for a stake in its Nyieme project in Burkina Faso, Chief Executive Gerard Kisbey-Green told Mergermarket. A deal would likely be structured as an earn-in, where a suitor expends the amount of capex of the mine’s development in exchange for a stake in the project. He declined to specify the percentage of the project on offer or the amount Goldplat would look to raise through a deal. Goldplat has a market capitalisation of GBP 10.07m (EUR 11.3m).

gerard did state that at this share price level he was not likely to use equity fundraising, so other options are being investigated. If the share price increases significantly then it would be more likely to see a placing to strengthen the balance sheet.
