Just going to filter a lot more of the doomsayers who talk rubbish, tired now of reading the negative C**P but I do enjoy the reasonable people on here who make interesting and informative posts. That new fist time poster is first on my list.
Looking forward to the Q and A session always nice to hear George talk.
So it seems that this chat site has turned into a forum for desperate people who actually has very little knowledge on the subject matter -ALBA- Gold mining- Environmental Permits ect , to post mostly negative comments and have a big old pity party. Lots of pessimists coming out of the wood work, but I guess you pessimists will never be disappointed so enjoy your party. I won't be joining, I guess I won't be invited.
Well, That was great entertainment reading all those posts today. Thanks for the update on the mine visit. I am still a very happy share holder...Only time will tell, but I have no concerns, and I do know a few things about Alba ..I am very much enjoying this ride. That because I am pretty sure I know how the journey ends..
Alba always believed the main share holder value was in Gold, to get value out of the Greenland assets right now has been a very welcome bonus. Alba never planned to develop the Greenland assets themselves, and to have them sitting there without the means for development was never going to add value to our share price. The Joint venture situation proved fruitless, George stuck by his guns and did not sign a poor value joint venture deal, so the spin off idea arose. I believe this will in time add very significant value to Alba share price. Being undervalued the Greenland assets should see the Greenroc share price rise very quickly when it hits the market, and this will be very positive for Albas share price as well. When needed, Alba will of course be able to raise the £3 million or so needed to develop the Gold mine(s) into production on the back of the spin off, with no more share dilution for Alba share holders. All in all, its all looking very positive. i think so anyway.
Nice RNS . Alba have done so well in having the Greenroc spin out, rather than caving in and signing a bad joint venture deal to develop Greenland assets. George/Alba, a great move, that will bring an increased value to us Alba share holders. Exciting times ahead. Well done George and the team.
