My confidence in Mark and George is not just based on my own research and knowledge of Alba.

Mark Austin, I have met and talked to at length and I found him a very intelligent, honest, genuine man who has nothing but Alba s best interest at heart, he strongly believes Alba will be successful along with Greenroc. George Frangeskides, while I have never met him in person, I have been told by people who do know him and have and still are working with him, that as the "Boss" he is "THE JEWEL IN THE CROWN " and a better boss they could not wish to work for/with. I say that in terms of a driven man who like Mark has Alba best interests at heart( shareholders interests). Peoples opinions on this board may differ, I do not however give much credence to most of the negative comments on this board, I trust the people who know what is going on behind the scenes and that is George , Mark and others who work for the company.

@ Robbie, sorry for the late comment on your post about volume, you were right of course , its never been about volume, it will never be mass producing mine. Its all about the premium and rarity of welsh gold and the ethical production and traceability, and don't forget the Royal connection, all this make it "special.

@ crobber -He has been trapped in a closed period for very a long time, its just because of the constant activity with Alba and Greenroc..its just been all go for ages with whats considered sensitive information in the pipeline. Then the closed periods before results are released have to be considered . Alba’s directors have little opportunity to but shares as any inside information of GreenRoc is also inside information for Alba, and that includes not just project-related information but also the 30-day close period pre the reporting of financial results - which essentially turns that into a 60-day period as GreenRoc goes first with its accounts and Alba then follows after so that Alba can include the GreenRoc numbers in the consolidation. @cober..infact it is frustratingly a closed period for George at present for director buys , just stating a fact a fact.

Alba did not have the necessary permission , permits to process the waste tip until recently, part of the permissions, permits were tied up with habitat regulation assessment NRW, that was significant in all the permitting requests. To say Alba could have done this two years ago is misleading. I see this as a very positive RNS.

Absolutely Ocelot, its VERY big news appointing Kobus Byleveldt, you don't have to read between the lines to know what that means. He seems highly regarded from what I have found out.

Kobus’ extensive career, he has worked in 7

gold mines and brought his breadth of skills and

experience to Scotgold 3 years ago.

Whilst initially employed as Mining Supervisor,

Kobus’ extensive experience resulted in several

role changes and Kobus now presided as

Mining Manager over a 3 shift team operating

24/7 on site.

@risk focus you keep banging on and on about the locals not wanting a mine. I wonder where you get your information from, my information says the opposite. My information comes direct from Alba HQ, so yes they could be biased, but I don't think so, I think they are telling the truth. Where dose your information come from. I am liking my new look green message board. I am just tired of the constant negativity crowd without decent facts to back up the statements. I am all for a good valid point may it be positive or negative .

George, as I know you do read the message board from time time, along with other members of Alba staff. I would just like to say. Thank you George I appreciate your hard work and your care in the management of Alba's money and resources, your frugality is much appreciated by at least one share holder. All at Alba keep up the good work.

The "lifestyle company" phrase is a cheap shot used against Alba many times by some , with no information as yet to back it up.

"I consider management to be very careful custodians of the group's resources" I would not argue with that, and I know stuff. I would not be invested in a share unless I believed in the management. I have good reason to believe in the Alba management. I would take a loss and get out if I did not believe. You pays your money and take your chance.

@Prentice, agreed its beautifull and Alba do not spoil the landscape in any way. Just to be clear, the mine site its self is NOT for visiting past the external boundry fences, you can look from afar, but under NO circumstances cross any of the set boundrys, this is Alba private property and we do not wnat want people trying to access the site. Not much to see on the site, all the good stuff is behind closed doors and inside tunnels.

Fantastic RNS today, it could not have been any better.

The visit to the mine was just me going along adhoc. I walked up to mine site, and just had a look from outside of the restricted area, although I know some stuff about what is inside the mine, I myself have never been in myself . I also visited the Alba office, and was lucky as a couple of people were working at the time. I was invited in and spent a good while talking to a very Knowledeable person. Alba's hospitality was great. I felt very welcome. They did not know who I was, just a shareholder.

These results are from shallow chip sampling that did not contain visible gold and have far exceded anything that Alba could have wished for. We know for fact, that below Level 4 is a potential huge gold target. Gold has already been intersected by drill in Level 4, now rock blasting will show us what its all about.

Also a bonous of historic piles of broken ore on No.4 Level that have been left in situ by previous operations. These piles represent a potential gold processing opportunity in advance of any planned new development. Someone on here said, miners would not leave gold lying around in the mine, well they did. Think "Mary Celeste" the mine was left like the workers had ended shift ready to go back the next day, they even had pre drilled holes for blasting. They did not go back.This is a fantastic RNS. Well done to GF .MA and all the Alba Team, great JOB!!

Alba will never be a mass producing gold mine, its the unique nature of the gold that will make the profits. To hear that( the once much miligned appointment on here)Vivien johnson Glass has been and is working hard for Alba to advance its commercial strategy and secure the best possible returns for for our gold, when it arrives, is pretty encouraging I would say. Her appointment in time will be seen as very shrewd.

Sorry to upset you Lee, you are an angry man. I thought people might appreciate the comments on the mine. Take your point on the way I write sometimes. I should of said, I have it from a trusted source that Vivian has been working hard doing what she had been employed for, this has to be a positive if you know what she dose. I don't wish to get into negative posts. It's not hype, it's facts. I will turn you green, and wish you all the best.
