With the latest news released by Defence Holdings PLC, it's good to see the market starting to respond.

To be fair, all the information was already out there. Anyone who took the time to understand the company, its strategy, and the opportunities in front of it could see this was a punt worth taking. The recent announcements have simply added further validation to what many investors already believed.

Nice to see things taking an upturn. Am I surprised? Not at all. The direction of travel has been clear for some time.

The Defence Investment Plan will ​lay out the funding for military equipment and services to ensure the armed forces ⁠move to a state of "warfighting readiness", but reports say it has been held up since last year by ​budget rows within government.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer confirmed on a visit to a drone factory on Friday that ​the plan would be published before a July 7 NATO summit, following a period of close work between government and military leaders.

The door has been opened, how foolish some people who post on this board must feel now. Well done to Defence Holdings..

Cheers, I am one of Defence Holding biggest fans(as you can see from my previous posts) just got frustrated , it was sloppy, what was said is more important. I agree.

Clear and accessible communication is important, especially when announcements are made via RNS, not impressed, when you can not find it on website as stated in RNS, Black mark for ALRT.......get better...very poor showing...

The PRN yesterday improves our credibility because it shows the company is beginning to operationalise the strategy rather than just talk about it. If we get a interview on Monday that shows we have some new stuff out there that's working even just in parts, being used by real customers and real use cases ,its a big deal.. also news on OM Defence Systems deal and similar partnerships, this will be significant.. Could be an RNS out Monday, would not surprise me at all. So it could be a "great day" on Monday, otherwise just a "good day" and it will be nice to hear our new CEO, what he has got to say. I think we will learn alot on Monday whatever happens..

Strategically strong step forward and shows the company is beginning to execute on a much bigger long-term vision. The combination of defence tech exposure, strategic partnerships and participation across future contract opportunities could position us very well if management delivers on the roadmap now being laid out.

In investing, optimism is common, but evidence is what ultimately matters. The market will, and should, require real proof in the form of sustained revenue, customer relationships, government contracts, and long-term commercial traction before any firm conclusions are drawn. That does not guarantee outcomes, but it does indicate that the idea and capability have cleared an initial level of scrutiny. In many cases, the most important developments are not the final contracts themselves, but the gradual shift in how a company is perceived by informed participants. If that perception evolves into real business activity, then the eventual results could be meaningful. If it does not, then the facts will speak for themselves. Looking back I think the THE INVITE TO TASK FORCE MAVEN INDUSTRY DAY OCT 2025 told me this company will at somepoint "make an entrance" and the upside could become very significant very quickly.

Worth waiting for, yes it was a while, but good things come to those who wait. It is my humble view that the market may presently be misjudging the significance of the recent change in stewardship at ALRT.

Mr. Andrew Roughan has but newly assumed the office of Chief Executive, his appointment taking effect only upon the 30th day of March in this present year of 2026. In enterprises connected to the affairs of defence and national security, where matters are often governed by discretion, confidential understandings, and the slow machinery of government procurement, it ought not to surprise sensible men that public communications may, for a season, become restrained.

Indeed, I am inclined to regard the present silence not as a cause for alarm, but rather as the mark of prudence and careful administration.

The Company, throughout the preceding months, maintained a vigorous flow of announcements and declarations which naturally stirred considerable interest amongst investors and speculators alike. Yet a newly installed chief executive may very reasonably wish first to acquaint himself thoroughly with the Company’s undertakings before issuing further proclamations to the market. Such caution, though less exciting to the impatient observer, is in truth far preferable to the careless manufacture of expectation.

One must also remember that the business of defence is seldom conducted in the full glare of public illumination. Negotiations may proceed quietly; contracts may advance behind closed doors; and progress of genuine importance may remain undisclosed until such time as publication is both lawful and prudent.

The impatient fellow upon the sidelines may demand instant proof of advancement, yet history teaches us that serious enterprises are rarely built amidst noise and commotion. It is often during periods of outward quiet that the most consequential work is undertaken.

For these reasons, I am presently inclined to afford the new leadership a proper measure of time in which to establish its direction. Should the coming quarter bring forth strategic clarity and tangible evidence of progress, then this current interval of silence may, in retrospect, appear not ominous, but entirely understandable.

Indeed, whilst others surrender their composure to doubt and agitation, I confess I regard the present weakness in the share price as something of an opportunity to increase one’s holding. For if the Company’s undertakings prove genuine and substantial, then these quieter days may one day be remembered as a most favourable moment in which to acquire additional shares at modest valuation.

Until then, I remain of the opinion that patience and composure are virtues more becoming to the thoughtful investor than panic and incessant speculation.

This is the last post from me for a while. heaven forbid, I do not want to be accused of ramping. My sentiments about this company are 100% genuine, it is going to be one hell of a ride, but I am thinking Defence Holdings will have many cards to play in this game of sovereign defence.

My thoughts on Defence Holdings and the new CEO right now.

Power belongs not to those who merely dream, but to those who execute with clarity, speed, and precision. In every age, meaningful change is driven not by tradition alone, but by those who understand how to shape the future before it arrives.

The appointment of our newish Chief Executive excites me for this reason. He operates within the modern defence and technology ecosystem, where influence is built through relationships, intelligence, and the ability to align innovation with real world application. Yes, it is early stage, but that is the point. You do not hire a legacy defence operator if you are trying to build something new and agile. If he can convert those networks into partnerships and contracts, this will be where things start to get interesting.

The company itself does not appear content to remain within the limits of the past. It is moving toward a new domain, defined by data, systems, artificial intelligence, and technological advantage. Such ambition is never without risk, yet it is often in risk that the greatest opportunity is found.

If leadership is decisive, if vision is maintained, and if execution follows intent, then this enterprise may yet establish itself as something of huge significance in the years ahead.

High risk, even higher reward. Get on this roller coaster now, sit back and enjoy the ride. I, for one, see a promising final destination. If you have seen the movie, it could also end in a dramatic disaster. Pays your money , take your chance. Other peoples views may differ as always, look into things yourself.

I would further add, with due respect to fellow contributors, that the general tenor of discussion on this board too often suggests a rather limited appreciation of what Defence Holding is as an enterprise, and of the nature and scope of its intended role within sovereign defence capability, particularly amongst those who post in ignorance upon subjects of which they appear to have little understanding. A clearer grasp of the company’s position as a new entrant, and what it is aspiring to achieve within the industry, might, I believe, serve to elevate the standard of discourse.

As Winston Churchill observed, “The power of a nation to defend itself is the first condition of its independence.”

I respectfully cannot concur with the suggestion that the post in question, quoting Andrew Roughan, contained any matter of a market-sensitive nature. The remarks therein appear to me to be of a general and favourable character, devoid of any specific detail which might reasonably be construed as material or capable of influencing the market.

There is, in my view, no disclosure of financial results, operational developments, guidance, or any other matter not already within the public domain or otherwise anticipated.

It seems to me a necessary distinction must be drawn between courteous optimism in tone and the communication of genuinely price-sensitive information. In this instance, the former is evident, whilst the latter is wholly absent.

For the many who may invest or want to invest in this company, without a tatol understanding of what is going on, lust take notice of "bonga post" this is the correct . To quote another poster "Cevodnita" "Yesterday's announcement was never going to involve Defence Holdings, but so many speculators expected it" For those who know a bit more about this stuff, it was obvious it had nothing to do with us ....enough said.
