George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
If it is I'll be back in bonzo. Good luck
Yup, that's a good point tricky.. % wise it's not that much but the thought of them all getting flipped tomorrow gave me the fear lol. Been caught out in the past with similar events and promised myself i would not have a sleepless night again. Good luck
Yup, your correct Anton. What's a couple of $ between friends lol.
With the chance of demand destruction increasing as the price of oil rose quite sharply recently when we were above $95 a barrel, looks like things are a wee bit more accepting of where we are now at about $88.
That's still a hefty 10% above where much of the numbers have been based on recently so hopefully we stick here and continue that fcf generation and a bit of a re-rate soon enough
I've taken my profit bonzo, if it climbs again then so be it. I'm happy with how it's went lately. Mindful of the 3m shares from the equity raise being added to the market tomorrow and what effect that could have. Not prepared to gamble this time lol. Good luck
Should have used some of his millions to charter a private jet then the dick.
What a dafty nutsmeg. How's that an opinion...good to see fire drill was a complete success.
An interesting read... Out of curiosity what's folks opinion on the prospect, and potential uplift to sp on any "rumours" or actual news.
I reckon there is a decent possibility, it's been talked about a few times and at current sp, and a good update on 12th maybe it could be a catalyst to something?. 500 on rumour, 600 at least on any announced talks.
Mibbees thinks they queue up at the local shell station and pay spot price at the pump lol.
Haha. Nice one...that's a decent days work.
I'm quite happy with that time frame...my logic is that we should therefore not expect any possible negative news that could impact on sp for a while yet. Time for some positive thinking and increasing sp.
You got lucky there Andoman, well done... But wae only 90k in the bank they might be asking you for a loan to keep the lights on shortly? Lol.
Comforting that latest numbers were based on $80 a barrel and we're almost 20% higher... Even a drop back to $90 and we'll still be generating that fcf in abundance
Possibly an easy 3ish% profit for anyone day trading...wish I'd done the same now.
Was watching news last night and one of the main stories was the rise in Chinese car production and how they expect to overtake Japan and Germany... No surprise then that demand for oil in China is strong, ironic that it's in part driven by the demand for ev's
That's the way I see it Harry....Been a case of "what's just around the corner" for a wee while now. After holding through the ups and downs selling up and moving on when there is clear light at the end of the tunnel possibly the wrong move.
Good point adieuk... Looking ahead I wonder what the board might chose to do with all that fcf. Hasten debt reduction, introduce shareholder returns, perhaps both. Not long to wait, 2024 just around the corner
Following Wednesdays update and potential profits based on oil remaining at $80 and above for say the next 12 months, and production stable at forecast levels of bopd... Interested in others thoughts on when they think the board might see fit to reward shareholders with a divi. Do folk think it's more likely any "free cash" is used to further reduce debt going forward, do we think there's the chance of a token shareholder return of even a modest amount... or does anyone think that there's a possibility of a sizeable return ( say 5p for eg) within the next 18 months.
Correct Harry. Kenya isnae going away....I'm more than happy that if oil remains at current levels we concentrate our efforts on maximising production / uptime elsewhere and "harvest" some easy money.
Ironic that today we see the likes of hbr rise whilst we drop in sp....can't last forever, and like you says, with tlw basing numbers on $80 oil then it can only help reduce our debt, raise our fcf and increase our sp.
